Love May Be Blind (1D Fanfic)

Chapter 5

I followed him onto the dance floor as i admired his cute blonde hair and threw my bag to the side. We danced and talked for what felt like forever until a slow song came on. We stood there awkwardly for a couple of seconds then I spoke to break the silence.

"I love this song." I said as wrapped my arms around his neck. He did the same except around my waist.

"Are your sure? I don't want to make your boyfriend angry." Niall said as he looked over to Liam.

"Who Liam? No we're just friends."

"Oh" he grinned pulling me closer. 

 I felt a jolt of warmth as our body's touched. I felt safe in Niall's arms, like nothing could hurt me. The next song came on which was upbeat but we still danced in the same position. The whole time our eyes were on each other like we were in a trance. 

"Rose" Liam called as he tapped me on the shoulder which made me jump.

I turned around. "Oh hey Liam whats up?" 

"My-my mom needs me home I have to go." he stuttered.

"Oh" I turn to Niall "I'm sorry I have to go, he's my ride."

"I understand. See ya at school?"

"Of course" I quickly kissed him on the cheek then Liam dragged me out to the car.

"Is everything ok?" I asked as he backed out of the driveway.

"Yeah, its nothing." he answered. Knowing him for so long I could tell that something was bothering him. I could also tell he didn't want to talk about it so he drove me home in silence.

"See ya Monday" I called back as i stepped out of his car. 

I walked inside to my dad sleeping on the couch. I guess i shut the door loudly because he woke up.

"Hey Ro, how was the party?" he asked sleepily.

"It was fun." I said with a huge grin on my face. I didn't want him to ask about the details like he usually does so i ran upstairs to my room before he could say anything. I changed out of my dress into pajama's and dove into the comfort of my warm bed.

*Monday Morning*

I woke up to my dad yelling from downstairs.

"Rose! Get up! You're going to be late for school."

I checked the time, 7:25. 

"Shit!" I whispered to myself getting dressed in a rush. I threw on a black shirt with black and white printed skinny jeans and sandals. School starts at 7:45 and it takes 10 minutes to drive there.

I threw my bag over my shoulder and ran downstairs not bothering with my hair.

"Mornin' Ro." said my dad.

"Mornin' Dad" i answered as i took a slice of toast from his plate.

"Hey that's mine!" he yelled as he chased me out the door.

"Sorry can't talk gotta go to school!" I yelled behind me as i hopped into my jeep. I checked the time, 7:30.

I sped to school getting there at 7:40 hearing the 5 minute bell ring meaning we had 5 minutes to get to our class. I rushed inside and took out my schedule to check what my first period class was, History with Mr. O'Reilly. In my luck it was on the other side of the school. I ran through the hallways looking like a mess getting to my class just as the second bell rang, meaning classes were starting. 

I saw Liam in the front row, oh Liam, he's such a nerd. He gave me a smile.

"Miss. Lennon how nice of you to join us please take a seat." said Mr.O'Reilly

There was only one seat left at the back of the room so i made my way to the back of the classroom and sat down. We started off the class by taking notes of what was necessary for the class. 

"Hey, could i borrow a pen?"

"Of course" i dug through my bag for a pen. I turned to my left to see him and smiled.

"Tanks" said Niall with his strong irish accent.
