You sighed as the other turtles came to their brother's rescue. You rubbed your forehead in confusion and frustration.
All you wanted to do was go home, not get into whatever mass this was.
"Well, you met Donnie." Leo said as Raph and him grab 'Donnie' and set him on the couch.
"I thought there was only three of you?" You asked confused.
"We didn't get to mention Donnie since he wasn't with us."
"Oh." Your heart skipped a beat as you glanced at the turtle sleeping.
"He should wake up soon, if you want to tell him the whole situation. I will warn you though, April and him had some history, so don't let him down too bad." Leo said as Raph walked to who knows where.
"What do you mean history?" You stepped closer, wanting to know more suddenly.
"Donnie....took a liking to April. They both liked each other. They dated for a few months and he was really happy, happier than I have ever seen him. Then, April went missing. He lost everything that was important to him. He no longer smiled, he no longer was....Donnie."
Your heart ached for the turtle in front of you, probably resting more now than he ever did before.
"Try to be gentle Y/n, for the sake of his heart." Leo walked away as soon as he finished saying that.
Donnie let out a soft snore and mumbled the other girl's name.
"April...." He whimpered and frowned.
"Oh Donnie." You wished you could do something. Make him not in pain. You didn't know why, but you felt like you had to.
You placed your hand on his head and kissed his head.
"I'm sorry I'm not the April you've been searching for."
