BILLIE."This is... not fun." I laughed, jumping on the bed.
"Well that's the idea," Jack started, "I just want to relax."
"Hey, remember when I told you gabbie thought I was cheating." I nodded.
"She broke up with me." Jack lightly chuckled, he turned around so that he was staring out the glass doors of the hotel, looking out at the sky.
"You're kidding." I scoffed.
He shook his head, "nope, said we should "take a break" really I think it was because of her new friends." He shrugged, "introduced her to this other guy."
"I'm so sorry, that sucks." I put my hand on his shoulder, not knowing how to react to the news.
We stayed silent for a moment until jack got up and led me outside, so we could get a better look at the stars which were bright tonight.
"We came here to not think about the things going on in our lives." I poked at his side.
He chuckled again and looked down at his legs, which were now crossed on the floor of the patio.
"You know, when Zach told me about you, I thought you were weird." He told me truthfully.
"Yeah well when Zach told me about you, I thought you were a jackass." I stared up at him, "I was half right." I laughed.
"The more I think about it, I think he was trying to set us up." Jack smiled to himself, but I knew he was cursing at Zach in his head.
I laid my head in his shoulder, "Well if he didn't, I'd have no one to vent to." I shrugged.
He put his arm around my waist and laid his head against mine, agreeing.
We stayed like that for a moment, staring down below us through the glass balcony, as we were on a high floor.
"If I didn't meet you, I'd probably be going crazy right now," I confessed, "talking to you is easy."
"Same." He simply stated.
I checked my phone for the time, 3:15 am. If we were still in LA, we'd be texting right now, which we'd been doing for the past two weeks.
Without thought, jack whipped his head up and stared at me. "Can I do something?" he asked, "I'll probably regret it tomorrow, or not."
I shrugged, but then froze as i realized jack was leaning in to kiss me. I stood still for a moment not knowing what to do. Do I risk the chance of ruining our friendship and kiss him back, or do I politely decline?
I knew the only thing to do was listen to my brain... But right now my brain was turned off and the only thing I could think of was his lips on mine. I guess I got my answer.
Without further thought, I leant into jack's embrace and felt his warm lips placed upon mine, it felt like we were the only two in the world right now. I blocked out everything else and focused only on the rhythm of our lips.
He pulled away after awhile but continued to stare at me, mesmerized by what happened.
I couldn't help but kiss him again, only this time more intimately. I put my leg over his lap so that we were completely facing eachother and his hands were around my waist.
The kiss started getting more heated as Jack managed to pick me up and bring me back into the hotel room.
