"Come on, Y/N! Geez, it's not like you're preparing to get married!" Jasmine said, tugging on my arm. "It's just a concert."
"Just a concert?!" I exclaimed. "Did you just say that it's just a concert?!"
"Correction. It's the love of your life's concert, only she doesn't know it yet."
"Thank you." I said and faced towards the mirror, once again about to restyle my hair.
She groaned and pulled me out my room. Luckily I grabbed the gift I had for the performer in the process. "Let's go! You look great!"
"Fine." I sighed and ran to the car.
...
"It's almost my turn to go meet her! What am I going to do? What am I going to say?" I said, thinking about how embarrassing it could be if I do the wrong thing.
"No time. Your turn." My best friend said as she pulled me with her to the blonde beauty.
She's even more gorgeous in person.
"Thank you." Sabrina said, blushing. My eyes widened as I realized that I had blurted it out without thinking.
"You're gorgeous, too." She complimented back, smiling brightly. We took a picture with Sabrina on my back and Jennie making an heart symbol while looking at us. When I realized what she did, I glared at her to which she smiled innocently. I put Sabrina down and she gave me a hug goodbye.
"Right, and this is for you." I gave Sabrina the gift and she awwed when she opened it. It was a box that had chocolate and a rose gold jewelry set.
"Thank you so much, but you really didn't have to."
"It was no problem really." I assured her and she smiled softly.
"Next." A person called out. I was about to leave when the dirty-blonde haired girl pulled me closer to her in a hug goodbye. "Meet me in the back of the building after the show." She whispered in my ear and then quickly winked at me as I was pulled away by my friend and the next person in line came up.
"What was that?" The brunette girl asked teasingly as we went to take our places in the audience.
"What?" I questioned, my heart still still beating rapidly fast from our encounter.
"She winked at you after she said something to you. Plus she looked at you the same way you look at her after you left."
"Which is?" I questioned.
"You know. The heart eyes with that stupid smile that you have every time you even hear one of her songs. Or the love sick puppy."
"You're delusional. Besides, I doubt that she likes me. I mean we just met." I laughed it off and she playfully nudged me.
"Hello, Chicago!" A certain blonde's voice boomed throughout the arena. I looked up at her with a wide smile. "Are you ready?" The crowd yelled yes at her.
"I don't even have to repeat that again." She giggled and started singing Almost Love.
As the concert went on, I could see her eyes scanning the crowd. When her eyes locked with mine, she noticeable blushed and bit her lip. She quickly snapped out of it though and got ready to sing Exhale.
"I saw that!" Jennie exclaimed and I playfully rolled my eyes at her.
...
"I'll meet you in the front. I'm waiting for someone." She gave me a questioning look, but she brushed it off.
I walked to the back of the building and not too long after waiting there I hear a soft, "Hi."
I turned my head in the direction of the voice, and sure enough was the short blonde walking closer to me. "Hey." I said, nervousness get more intense and building up with every step she took towards me.
"You know, you're really cute." She said, and tucked her straight hair behind her ear.
"Oh, uh. T-thanks. You're cuter." I said, my cheeks most likely pink from her compliment. She giggled and mumbled, "Thanks."
"Even though I don't know anything about you, there's something about you that intrigues me. I'm not sure what it is, but I want to get to know you to figure out what it is." She said, speaking clearly and then she looked into my eyes.
"So I have a proposal, or rather a question for you, okay?"
"Yes." I said immediately and she laughed.
"I haven't even asked you yet." She said and my face heated up from embarrassment.
"My question, well actually I should probably ask you if you're straight first. So, are you?" She asked.
"Are you?" I countered back and she shook her head.
"No, I'm bisexual. So, again, are you straight?" She asked again and I shook my head no.
"Not at all." I answered and laughed.
"Well then, would you possibly consider maybe going out for coffee and then maybe a movie with me? You know, like a date?" She asked the last part nervously, hope in her blue eyes.
"No. I mean yes. I would love to." I giggled and she had a confused, but happy, expression.
"Wait, so is that a yes?" She asked and I nodded.
"Yes. A definite yes." I said.
"Oh! Then yay! Can I have your number?" She asked and I told her it as she typed it into her phone.
"Y/N, where are you?!" I heard Jasmine's voice distantly.
"Well I guess you gotta go. You have a beautiful name. By the way, that is. I'll see you later, Y/N." She stood on her tip toes and kissed my cheek before quickly running inside the building.
I walked back to the front and Hispanic friend let out a sigh of relief.
"Next time you want to meet up with a girl, at least let me know where you are or to at least wait up! Don't make me worry while you're making out with someone." She said and ran her fingers through her hair.
"What? I was just talking to someone." I said.
"You have a lipstick kiss mark on your face." She informed me and I touched my cheek.
"I do?" I asked.
"Nevermind. Let's go. I'm hungry, because I thought you got kidnapped." She said and then started ranting, but I had zoned out. I was snapped back into to us when she started yelling.
"Okay. I'll buy dinner and then we'll get ice cream. You know, since you were worried about me." I said, cutting off her talking so she wouldn't cause a scene.
