(Takes place before the Singular Act 1 album is released.)
Recently, Sabrina's been secretive around me. She's sneak out in the middle of the night, when she thinks I'm sleeping and doesn't come back until maybe a couple hours later.
Today, she said that she had a free day, but she still left to go somewhere. This time though, I followed her.
She went to a coffee place down the street. I saw her meet up with a boy. They started talking, but I couldn't hear anything. He pulled out a little velvet box and got down on one knee.
A huge smile appeared on her face, and she hugged him tightly.
Sabrina pulled away from the hug, but when she saw me her smile vanished.
Tears started welling up in my eyes, and I ran away. I could hear her calling my name, but I didn't stop.
I walked into our shared apartment and went into our bedroom, and shut and locked the door.
Not even 10 minutes later, I heard the front door open and close. "Y/N, I swear it's not what it looked like."
"Leave me alone!" I yelled through the door.
"Baby, please let me explain. Can you please," she let out a shaky breath, "Can you please open the door?"
"Get out. Go to your fiance." I spoke, tears still flowing from my eyes down my cheeks.
"He is not my fiancé! Please let me explain." She begged.
I sighed and unlocked the door. She opened the door and sat next to me on our bed, but I wasn't making eye contact.
"Well first, he's not my fiance or anything like that. He's a friend and also one of my coworkers."
"So your coworkers just propose to you out of the blue all the time?" I asked, sarcastically.
"No. He was just helping me with something." She said.
"Sure he was." I said.
"I'm telling you the truth. I would never lie to you."
"Really? Then what's with all the secrets you've been keeping from me? All the times that you would sneak out in the middle of the night when you thought I was asleep?"
"Again, it's not what you think."
"Then explain." I said shaking my head and wiping the tears off my face.
"How about I just show you?" She asked and gave me her headphones. I looked at her confused. "Put them on."
I did and I was surprised to hear a new song of hers.
"I'm confused." I said, when the song was over.
"I write that song for you. That's why I kept sneaking out. So you wouldn't get the wrong idea and think that I was cheating on you."
"Oh. But what about the man at the coffee place?" I asked.
"Oh that. There was this role that he was auditioning for so I offered to help. Again, I would have told you but..." She trailed off.
"I'm sorry." I apologized.
"No it's okay. I understand." She said and put her arms around me and pulled me into a hug.
"I love you so much, Y\N. Don't forget that." Sabrina mumbled in my neck.
"I love you too, Bri."
