"Code Rainbow! Code Rainbow!" I shouted when I climbed through the window of Rowan's room.
"Good morning to you too Y/N/N." She stretched and got up from bed.
"Good morning." I said and started pacing across the wooden floor.
"Alright. Tell me what's the problem." She said, patting the place next to her on her bed. I sat down and crossed my legs.
"Code Rainbow." I muttered. Code Rainbow is what we say when we are talking about our sexuality or something similar. It was Rowan's idea.
"Code Rainbow? Is it about your sexuality or gender?" She asked.
"Sexuality." I said, playing with my fingers.
"Oh, you think that you're a lesbian?" She was a little confused.
"I don't know!" I said, getting up. "One minute I'm like 'I'm the straightest person ever.' The next I'm like 'wait am I gay? Was my whole 15 years of living, a lie?' I'm freaking out Rowan!"
I was on the verge of crying out of frustration. Who thought that figuring out your sexuality was so hard?
"Alright, alright. Breathe." She said soothingly. I took a few deep breaths before I finally calmed down.
"When did you start questioning your sexuality?" She asked calmly.
"Yesterday. I think either after your performance or during your performance." I answered.
"Could it possibly have to do with a certain blonde haired girl that you kept staring at?" She asked.
"I wasn't staring at her." I argued.
"Everyone saw you staring. Even Sabrina herself." She said. "Now is this about her?"
"U-um, m-maybe. I don't know. Does that make me a lesbian or bisexual, pansexual, queer, polysexual, or questioning?" I asked and she shrugged.
"I don't know but don't focus on labeling yourself. Just thinking about finding yourself for now." I nodded.
"Yeah. Thanks for the advice Rowboat. You're the bestest friend ever." I gave her a hug and she happily hugged me back.
"Anytime Y/N. I'm here for you."
"I know." I said.
"What time is it?" She asked, yawning.
"9:30. Why?" She widen her eyes and quickly put her shoes on.
"Come on. I have to be on set in 20 minutes!" She pulled me out of the house and her parents took us over there. We thanked them and ran out of the car.
"Rowan, there you are!" Her make-up artist exclaimed and pulled her away. She held out her hand and mouthed 'save me dramatically.' I giggled and sat in one of the chairs in the front.
"Y/N right?" I heard a girl's voice from behind me. I turned around and my heart skipped a beat. Sabrina was right behind me with an amused expression.
"Yeah. I don't mean this in a mean way, but why're you here?" I asked and the slightly older girl sat down in the chair next to me.
"Oh well I just wanted to get to know you before the director- "
"Everyone go to the school set!" We heard a announcement and Sabrina sighed.
"Too late now I guess." She said standing up.
"Enjoy the show!" She said and ran off to set. Her blonde hair swaying as she ran. Blonde hair. That's weird. That's actually the first color that I've seen. She's actually making me see color.
I didn't pay much attention to the rehearsal today. All I kept thinking about is why I can see blonde now. Wow, black and white world with a little bit of blonde.
"Y/N!" Rowan jumped on my back, nearly scaring the crap out of me. "Rowan!" I exclaimed, making her laugh.
"I'm surprised that you weren't staring at her today." She teased.
"Shut up." I said jokingly. "I had something on my mind." I answered.
"Really? What was it?" She questioned.
"Blonde hair." I answered.
"You spent an hour thinking about hair?" She asked.
"No. It was the fact that I actually freaking saw the color of it. You know that I've never actually seen color, but today I finally did." I explained.
"That's good Y/N." She said. "Hey, who knows? Maybe Sabrina can start showing the whole rainbow."
I brushed at the comment and glanced over at Sabrina. She looked at me and waved with a smile on her face. Yeah. Maybe she can.
