All the time that had happened between seemed to been erased.
Every mistake and wrong turn Jungkook seemed to take seemed to be wiped away from the current blank canvas.
His eyes weakly opened as the buzzing fluorescent light started to cut into his eyes, burning his eyes as the black faded into white.
"Jungkook?" a voice broke out in the ringing silence.
A face defined itself among the almost pixelated back drop, soon being recognised as Valentina.
"Jungkook, you're awake finally." she smiled as she smiled as her hand wrapped quickly around his.
Before she could even say anything else, Jungkook had already wrapped his weak body around her, still strong enough to squeeze her tightly.
The type of silence that broke between them was the type which was comfortable, not awkward like it used to be.
It was long before the bliss of their new found silence was broken by the creak of the door opening, soon revealing Yoongi and Jimin.
"Wow, look who finally decided to join the land of the living." Yoongi said through a sugar- like gummy smile as he made his way over to Jungkook and stole his embrace from Valentina.
Valentina watched the sweet reunion before releasing the burning gaze coming from Park Jimin's chocolate eyes.
She looked over to him to find him cocking his head towards the door. It felt like some sort of evil beckoning, one that she knew would end with saline-like jewels being expelled from one of their lost eyes.
Valentina followed him into the ill-feeling green corridor, the awful smell creeping into her senses as people either roamed the corridors with their IV bags as if they were lost spirits or being rushed on a stretcher as a team of paramedics and doctors squabbled around them.
"I wanted to talk to you." he confessed quietly as he closed the door behind him.
"I thought you said that you never wanted to see me again." she snapped back as she tried to avoid his almost kicked puppy-like look.
Why was he trying to act like the victim?
He was the one who threw me out like a type of ravenous vermin.
He was the one who pinned me for murders that I didn't commit.
"Look, Valentina. Jin and Yoongi told me your side of the story—" he started to say before Valentina sliced into his words.
"Yeah! The story you wouldn't let me explain to you! I tried to tell you but you just pushed me out and tried to banish me from your life." she almost shouted back at him, earning a few eyes of judgement from the world that surrounded hers.
"I'm sorry for that, but put yourself in my shoes for a moment. I figured out that you had killed someone, someone that was linked to all of this. Wouldn't you jump to conclusions too?" Jimin asked, the volume of his voice growing louder and louder.
"No! Because you're meant to listen Jimin! That's the bloody basics of a relationship." she fought back.
"Why can't you just forgive me!?" Jimin spat back at her.
