While Jay is off training with The Force Ghost of Qui Gon Jinn, learning how to be a Force Ghost, Alex continue to fill in for Jay in The 1st Militia. As she severed, she wait and watched the skies for her brother's safe return from training. In Fort America, home of The 1st Militia, Alex was walking around and saw Private Josiah D. Fisk, who served in The 19th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment in Company A. Before she could speak to The Union Private from Massachusetts, She heard a voice call out to her. She turned to see it was Lieutenant Nanao Ise. Alex saw her before in Nevada when she was speaking about training in Vaapad. Taking her attention away from Private Fisk, She turned to Lieutenant Ise.

Lieutenant Ise: Excuse me...Are your Alex Lyon?
Alex: Yes....Who might you be, Lieutenant?
Lieutenant Ise: I'm Nanao Ise....Lieutenant of Squad 8. Where is your brother, Jay?
Alex: I'm sorry to burst your bubble, Lieutenant Ise. He is off training and I do not know what he will return.
Lieutenant Ise: I see. When he does return, tell him Lieutenant Ise asked for him.
Alex: Very well, I will see to it....What did you ask him, Lieutenant Ise?
Lieutenant Ise: I was hoping he could train me in lightsaber combat, Vaapad most of all. When I ask him he refused to teach me because of.....what happened many weeks ago.
Alex: I know....I was there. I heard everything.
Lieutenant Ise became confused on this and then Alex explained about what she had seen and heard. Before she came to Earth, she felt her brother's pain at The Jedi Temple and was told about Jeffian Frihard's Death from Jar Wolffee. He told Alex that Jay doesn't want to lose anyone he cares about. When Jay went out to find and fight Darth Phantom, it felt like he was punishing himself for not his friend. Alex promised Lieutenant Ise that she and Jar will try to into train you. Then, an idea came to Alex. If Nanao is going to Vaapad, then she and her brother's apprentice, Britt.
Alex: Lieutenant Ise...If my brother is going to train you in Lightsaber Combat, in Vaapad, My brother's apprentice, Britt, and I wish to learn it as well. Will be alright with you?
Lieutenant Ise pondered on Alex's request. Seeing it as an opportunity to learn about Lightsaber Combat in general, she began to agree. With that, Alex promised to speak to Jay when he returns. Lieutenant Ise smiled and thanked Alex for this. After Lieutenant Ise left, Alex went to see Jar about Lieutenant Ise stopping by, asking about Jay. Jar acknowledged it and wrote it down in his notes. A week later, on August 10th, 2018, Jay returned after training. Both Alex and Jar came to greet their friend and brother. Jar told Lieutenant Ise stopped by, asking about you. Jay could sense what Lieutenant Ise was here for. Still, Jay couldn't train her. Jar felt like giving up, but then an idea came to him.
Jar: Jeffian would agree with me...in training Lieutenant Ise in Lightsaber Combat that is.
Jay looked to Jar in shock. He knew Jeffian would agree with Jar one hundred percent. Collecting himself, he faced Jar and told him directly.
