When the group arrived at the boat, they had to go through the customs. Everything was alright and good to go on the boat. Because the group had to spent 18 hours on the boat they had an cabin, four persons per cabin. Jasmine had to share her cabin with Caroline, Ann and Mariah, but because Jasmine got claustrophobic in the cabin she wouldn’t spent the night in the cabin but in some nice living area at the boat. Caroline agreed to keep her company. Keith shared his cabin with Cole and Alex. Keith also didn’t liked the cabin so he would keep Jasmine and Caroline company at night. And the last group of the kids was Elisabeth, Bella, Lin and Suzy, Elisabeth didn’t really liked the group where she had to spent the night with, but also didn’t liked the cabins so she would join Caroline, Keith and Jasmine for the night. On the boat the group walked in little groups around the boat to explore what they could do. There was a cinema, casino, bar/disco and an TV area. The concluded that they could kill the 18 hours on the boat with all of that.
Around 6pm they had dinner with the whole group, what was lots of fun because it was a buffet, what meant that there was a lot to choose from. Everyone laughed if someone suggested what something was but got it wrong or just gave it an creative name because they couldn’t find the right name for it. When the whole group finished there dinner they hang around and played some games.
Keith asked Jasmine if she would like to go outside, to go to one of the decks. Jasmine agreed. Keith and Jasmine went to the top deck, sat down on a bench and looked out over the beautiful sea that surrounded them. In the time they sat there they saw the sun go down, it looked like the sun drowned in the sea. While the sun went down the whole sky turned in some red/orange colour, very beautiful. Jasmine and Keith sat there for an hour before one of them spoke out, Keith was first: ‘There’s something that I need to tell you. Since what happened in Blackpool, I started to like you, a lot. And I don’t know if you feel the same but that’s how I feel about you.’ Jasmine just stared to the sea in front of her. She didn’t really know how the answer it, she also liked Keith a lot. So Jasmine went with an simple answer: ‘I also like you a lot.’ After Jasmine had said that, she looked at Keith, he was looking out over the sea with a little smile playing around his mouth. He turned his face of the sea and looked at Jasmine who quickly turned her face away. Out of sweetness Keith gave Jasmine a little kiss on her hair. Jasmine smiled at herself, it was the first time a boy had told her he liked her, a lot. The first time she had spoken out that she really liked someone and that to the person she loved. Keith and Jasmine looked both out over the sea, both up in their thoughts. Keith suggested after an hour to go inside, it started to get cold. So they went inside to meet up with Ann, Cole and Elisabeth.
They all went to their cabins, the others were already gone. They said bye to Cole and Ann who went to sleep in their cabins, so that left Elisabeth, Jasmine and Keith who went to get a pillow and moved then to somewhere in the boat where they searched for Caroline and a place they could sleep. They found a small living area with two couches where they could lay on. It wasn’t that comfortable but for the hours that they still had to kill it was alright. Jasmine was the first to drift off to sleep, she woke up two hours later founding the others still talking just like when she went to sleep. When they saw that Jasmine they apologized because they thought they had woken her up, what they hadn’t. They all went quiet and tried to catch some sleep before they were home. Keith didn’t sleep at all, but watched Jasmine sleeping, checking if she was alright because she didn’t felt alright, she was seasick.
