Blackpool: Ever After

Chapter 7

In less than a week, Keith and Jasmine met again. This time again at a beach, not the beach in Blackpool but the beach in Alkmaar. Keith and Jasmine had an amazing time and decided to make it official as an couple, so strong were there feelings toward each other.

In the 4 weeks left of their vacation they met every week. Just to spend time together and because they loved each other a lot. It were amazing weeks for Jasmine and Keith. They started to love each other more and more.

In the next two months that followed everything seemed alright on the outside, a perfect love story. But on the inside not that much.  By Keith were some things that didn't worked out. He knew that he loved Jasmine a lot, but there were parts that he wasn't sure about. Maybe he was going to fast with what he wanted from Jasmine, maybe he asked too much of her. He didn't know, because Jasmine didn't spoke out. She had like a wall around her that hadn't been there in England. They already had within a month a couple of arguments, the wall and the differences between England and how it was in the Netherlands were a big part in it.

It was also a reason why Keith wanted to help Jasmine to break down the wall around her, to make it easier for herself but also for him to get to her. Jasmine accepted Keith´s help, but said that it maybe would took her a time before she could break down her wall because she was hurt that many times before and that she had to look back at all the thing in life she didn't want to look back on. The things that only would make her feel sad.

Keith accepted that and said that it was a part of the process. He would let her take her her time. But while letting Jasmine taking her time, Keith told Jasmine everything that was up on his mind, every little detail of what was bothering him. This wasn't making it easier for Jasmine to break her wall down, it was only making it harder because it was more stuff she had to go through. Jasmine got the feeling that she couldn't tell her story to Keith, even while he told her she could. And when she tried to tell him her story he just didn't seem interested or reacted like it wasn’t imported or he didn´t care. This was hard for Jasmine because she had to break down a wall and that wasn't possible in this way.
