Today is October 2, 2023. Today's the day where me and my friends go to school like normal. While walking to school, Gina and Alice catch up to me.
"MI-CHAN! WAIT UP!"
I turn around, "Oh, hey Gina, hey Alice. I see you want to walk to school with me today."
Alice smiled, "We sure did. I also realized that today's missing work day in school. Meaning we don't have to worry about taking boring notes in class."
Gina responds, "Really? No one ever told me what we're doing today."
She sighs, "I'm so glad it's missing work day. I actually forgot my notebooks for school today."
I asked, "Did any of you have any missing work from any class? Because today's where we turn in our missing work before the students leave school."
Gina sighs in relief, "Lucky me, I don't have any missing work from any of my classes."
Alice pats Gina's back, "Don't worry Gina, I don't have any missing work except I actually finished all of my work so I get to spend time with you and Mi-Chan."
Candy suddenly stands in front of us smiling, "Forgetting someone?"
We all looked at him, "CANDY-KUN!"
Candy waves, "Hey everyone. I see you're having a conversation before school huh?"
Alice smiles, "We sure are. I guess we better get to school before class starts."
Candy chuckles, "I agree. I have some assignments to turn in for Miss Checkers."
We all start walking while continuing our conversation.
I smile at Candy, "I actually forgot that we can hang out at the cafeteria for the whole day."
Candy looks at the sky smiling, "Yeah, Principal Love told me all about it when me and him talked on the phone last night."
Gina smiles, "I didn't know we can do that during class today."
He makes eye contact with her, "Oh yeah, you can actually do that. You can also hang out in the therapy center when something's wrong which I'm sure won't happen today."
I giggled, "Yeah, I'm sure we'll be just fine. Besides, we have Principal Love that can keep us company when we need it."
