Chapter 8: In Gina's house

Me and Gina are laying on her bed with me staring at the ceiling struggling to stay warm while she was asleep. You may wonder what happened to us. Thanks to Principal Love and Nurse Cassie, Gina's nurse, we're home trying to warm up after spending time in the vents. Don't worry, we're doing okay, we're still cold as ice all thanks to the ac system that nearly froze us to death. Principal Love comes in the room to visit.

He strokes my hair, "Hey Mi-Chan. How're you doing?"

I give eye contact, "S-still f-freezing." I sneezed.

Principal Love takes off his pink and magenta jacket and places it on top of me, "I'm so sorry you're not doing well. Do you want another blanket?"

"P-Please."

He stands up, "Okay. I'll be right back just stay where you are."

He exits the room to grab another blanket for us. About two minutes later, he returns to the room with two blankets. He grabs his jacket before placing a blanket on me. She wakes up and turns to him.

She smiles, "Hey Principal Love."

He smiles, "Hey Gina. How're you doing?"

She frowns, "Still cold."

"Aww, do you want another blanket?"

She hugs me before she starts shivering, "Y-yes p-please."

He places a blanket on her, "How does it feel now?"

She smiles, "Feels so warm."

He smiles, "I'm so glad. What about you Mi-Chan?"

I jump to his arms, "I feel better thanks to you."

He wraps me with a blanket, "Do you want me to put you to sleep? You look exhausted."

I yawned as I lay my head on his chest, "That's so sweet of you."

I fell asleep as he sits down on a rocking chair located next to her bed. Principal Love sings me and Gina to sleep as Nurse Cassie comes in the room.

She suddenly squeals, "Aww, how sweet of you."

Principal Love looks at her, "Oh hey. I didn't see you there."

"Do you want me to take over for you? I don't like it when someone's here for too long."

He tucks me into bed before putting on his jacket, "Yeah, I have some stuff to do at my house anyways. Have a nice day Nurse Cassie." He leaves her room.

My phone starts to ring as I wake up to check on my phone. It was Candy. I pick up my phone to answer his call as Nurse Cassie leaves the room for privacy.

I smiled, "Hey Candy-Kun."

Candy sniffles, "Hey Mi-Chan. I heard you and Gina got sick while trying to fix that ac problem. Are you gonna make it tomorrow?" He sneezes.

I giggled, "Of course I will. It's just a little cold. There's no need to worry about not coming to school tomorrow."

"It sucks when I didn't bring a jacket with me. I never thought it can end like this. I should've waited until after school to wash it."

I frowned, "Aww, I really do hope you come back to school tomorrow. I hate it when my friends don't come to school."

Candy smiles, "Don't worry. I'm gonna make it to school tomorrow. It's just a little cold. Well, I better get going. My nurse is taking me to the doctors to get me checked up. Bye Mi-Chan."

"Okay. Bye Candy-Kun, get well soon." I end the call and went back to sleep and hope for a better tomorrow.
