Their palace was enormous and luxurious, made out of precious gems and metals. Yellow got back on her feet after a while and spoke, "I'll conquer her heart! I know I will!"
A servant hurried over, it was Yellow's handmaiden. "Ma'am, you will be glorious."
She smiled softly, "thank you Moon...," she gently hugged her "I'm going to win..."
She hugged back and brought Yellow to her quarters. She unlaced the young woman's dress and had her step out of it as the soft fabric fell to the ground. "I have run a warm bath for you."
She nodded and covered her chest with her hands. "Afterwards I would like to do some training with Bamboo rice," she smiled tenderly.
"What do you mean, ma'am?" She helped Yellow into the warm tub. She relaxed in the water and let out a sigh.
"Bamboo is the general of our army, it's only natural for him to teach me how to fight, but I don't want as much muscle as he has. I need to gain a pound or two before departing," she gave a determined smirk and sank deeper into the water.
Moon Pie began cleaning Yellow. "I hope you return from the unknown..." She was nervous for her mistress, and didn't mind showing it.
"I'm determined to Moon... I will" she smiled and let her clean her "I will do it for you, for all my friends here and for the person I love."
"What if you and another champion return and the Empress Diane chooses them? Oh my! I'm sorry!" She had dropped the basin of water into the tub.
She smiled gently and picked it up "I'll accept it. I won't force her to choose me. I want to fight for her and I'll show her my worth..." She looked at Moon's hands. They were shaking and pale, specks of brown all over them along with the rest of her body.
"I-I really do apologise, mistress Yellow. I'm just so anxious, if you don't mind my saying so...," she spoke quickly and in mumbles.
Yellow gently cupped her faithful servant's cheeks. "What's wrong, Moon? Are you sick? Should we go to Plum's sanitary?"
"No, ma'am. I am not sick. Just worried you will not return and that your brother, the Emperor, will get me..." She teared up and grabbed Yellow's hands, kissing them. "I am so grateful for your kindness!"
She hugged her servant, no, her friend. She smiled softly and closed her eyes. "I will come back. I'll learn how to fight and I will survive."
Moon gasped and hugged back, melting into the warm, and wet, embrace. "Thank you for your comforting words, ma'am. I'll go get more water, unless you wish to get out?"
"I'm already clean. I prefer to get out and start training so I can keep my promise," she smiled as she spoke and gently pushed some pink hair out of her eyes.
She blushed and met her gaze, her eyes wide and innocent. "My...m'lady?"
She smiled and watched her eyes "My little Moon... I don't know what I would do without you." She got up slowly.
Moon's cheeks went pink, watching her mistress rise. "You are ever so beautiful, M'lady Yellow. You truly are," she murmured began drying her off.
She laughed softly and looked at her. "You are too. I wonder who will be the lucky one to have your hand in marriage...," she trailed off and smiled.
She gave a tiny laugh and helped Yellow into her new outfit, pants and a tunic. She laced the front of the mustard colored top and blushed more. "I had to get the dimensions redone for you."
"Sadly I have grown out of my small ones..." She put on a necklace. "I've heard that Sweet Tofu has something for you," she laughed softly and gave a sly wink. It hurt Moon's little heart to think she could never have Yellow, but Tofu had always been kind...so, perhaps, she could get over dear Yellow Wine.
