An eleven warrior entered the small town of Runswick. She was infamous throughout the realm. Valera, former leader of the Paladins and leader of the Resistance. Many of the villagers pretended not to notice the elf. She was searching for someone. A black haired man with a beard was helping an elderly man carry firewood to his small hovel. Valera just watched. "Thank you." The elder said as he handed the man a few coins. "No problem." He said and began to walk away. "Sha Lin." The man stiffened as he turned toward Valera. "Valera." Sha Lin responded bitterly.

"What do you want?" "I need your help," Valera said. Sha Lin rolled his right eye. "Last time I helped the Resistance, I lost my eye and was left in the rubble. What makes you think I'll help again?"

Valera sighed. "I'm sorry about what happened at Ascension Peak. We can't change what happened in the past." "I need your help to get the Warder's Relics." "What's in it for me?" Valera unhooked a coin purse from her belt. "I'm listening."

Sha Lin walked to the port. A large boat with blue and gold flags was stationed. "They certainly spared no expense." He commented to himself as he boarded the ship. A red rabbit that had two horns on her head was petting a two-headed dragon. "They sent a rabbit to get these relics? They must be more desperate than I thought." The rabbit turned to face the jaded archer. "Two things, pirate ninja. First, I'm a leipori. Second, insult me again and I'll turn you into a snack for Po-Li!" She gestured at her two-headed dragon. The dragons licked their lips. Sha Lin was surprised by the leipori's rebuttal. He quickly gained his composure and scoffed.

"Sha Lin. Traitor of the Thousand Hands guild. Legendary Adventurer, Treasure Finder, Former Rebel, and now a mercenary." A brunette in silver armor said. "How did you know all of that?" "The pyre allows me to look into the souls of mortals. Yours is one of great interest." "And what are you supposed to be? An ang-" The woman stretched her wings. "Never mind. Where does Valera find these people?" He muttered to himself. "Says the archer with baggy pants." The leipori huffed. "My name is Furia. The leipori is Moji." Furia said impatiently. "We need to work together so you two should learn how to get along." The angel walked away. Sha Lin and Moji just glared at each other.

The voyage begins.
