Chapter 8

Troye and Jacob wake up fully clothed, wrapped in each other's arms.

Troye turns over and checks the time on his phone 3:05pm. "Argh!" He groans and nestles his head into Jacob's chest.

They had fallen asleep after this morning's madness and had woken up a few hours later.

"We should probably get up." Jacob laughs, looking down at the sleepy Troye.

Troye looks at him and smiles, "I'm glad to see you happy again."

Jacob kisses him. "I'm always happy when I'm with you."

They kiss and snuggle for a little longer, feeling very happy and safe in each other's arms. They then get up, get out of their crinkled clothes and change into new ones.

"Can we go out today?" Jacob asks as he wraps his arms around Troye's shoulders while Troye does his hair in front of the mirror.

"Sure. Where do you wanna go?" Troye asks.

"I don't mind. I just wanna get out you know, clear my head and stuff." Jacob replies.

"Okay," Troye says, still styling his blonde curls, "We'll walk around town for a bit, maybe get a late lunch? Does that sound good?"

"That sounds brilliant." Jacob smiles.

They stand in front of the mirror for a while. Staring at their reflections. Their arms wrapped around each other. Big cheesy smiles spreading across their faces.

"Nooooo, we're not going to turn into one of those cheesy, giggly couples are we?" Troye giggles.

"No not at all." Jacob chuckles, "Okay, lets go." He says as he gives Troye one last peck on the neck before walking out the door.

The couple head downstairs and into the living room. Laurelle, Shaun and Tyde are sitting around the coffee table, laughing and talking together. They all look up when Troye and Jacob enter the room.

"Hey boys," Laurelle smiles.

"Hey Mum." Troye says, giving her a kiss on the check. "Me and Jake are going to head out for a bit, is that okay?"

"Of course,"she says handing Troye the car keys, "Have fun."

The boys say goodbye and head out to the car.

"So where are we going first?" Troye asks once they're both in the car.

"Well, I'm starving." Jacob says.

Troye laughs, "Same, let's go get some food."

The boys spend the rest of the day eating and shopping. None of them mention the events from earlier in the day, not wanting to ruin the happy moments they were sharing.

By 5:00pm they both decide it's time for dinner. They get some take away and go the local park to eat.

Troye sits down on a park bench and starts to unwrap his burger. "It's been a lovely day." He sighs.

"I know." Jacob grins.

They eat their dinner in silence, not bad silence, more peaceful. The sun was still out and shining brightly, they felt at peace.

"Do you wanna go to the beach and watch the sunset?" Jacob asks after they had finished their meal.

"I would love to." Troye replies.

Once they find a parking spot near the beach they hop out of the car and walk down to the water.

They walk hand in hand along the waters edge, having little conversations.

They find a spot on the sand to sit down and watch the sunset.

"It's beautiful." Troye whispers.

"God I love Australia." Jacob says, "I missed it when I was in England."

Jacob grabs Troyes hand and Troye rests his head on Jacob's shoulder.

"I don't want the holidays to end." Troye says.

"Me neither, Troye." Jacob replies softly.

They were the only ones on the beach. Just them and the waves. They were full of bliss.

"Troye?" Jacob whispers?

"Yeah?" Troye says.

"I- I love you."

Troye looks at Jacob. He is kinda surprised but it also feels right. He smiles widely.

"I love you too, Jacob."

This was such a short chapter I'm sorry.

I sorta like it though it was just a little cheesy lovey dovey chapter.

This was the calm before the storm.......
