This chapter is kinda a mess, but oh well. I needed to update because the last chapter was shit :)
It was morning and Troye was downstairs with his Mum in the kitchen. They were both early birds and always spent the morning together, while everyone else were still sleeping.
School starts back in a few days and Troye and Jacob didn't know how to feel about it.
"Are you going to tell everyone about you two?" Laurelle asked that morning.
Troye and Jacob hadn't really talked about coming out as a couple at school yet. Yeah, they were both out of the closet, but they didn't know what to do about being a couple.
"We haven't really thought about it." Troye tells Laurelle, "We might tell people, but I'm not sure. Maybe just our close friends."
"Okay, it's up to you two." Laurelle smiles.
They continue chatting and drinking coffee until they hear loud crashes coming from upstairs, followed by shouting from Jacob. Laurelle and Troye both look at each other with wide eyes. "What was that?" Laurelle asks.
"I don't know," Troye says, "Something must be wrong with Jacob."
They hear another crash and Jacob continues to mutter words under his breath.
Troye jumps out of his chair and runs upstairs. "Jacob?!"
Troye runs into his room to find clothes sprawled across his floor and a distressed Jacob furiously pulling more clothes out of his bag and tossing them everywhere.
"Jake, what's wrong?" Troye shouts.
"They're not here, Troye! I forgot to get them when I left home." Jacob wails.
"What?" Troye asks.
"My school uniform! It's not here!" He stops trying to look through his bag and crumbles onto the bed, sobbing.
If a stranger saw this they'd probably think he was being ridiculous and acting like baby. A seventeen year old isn't meant to have a tantrum over school uniform.
But Troye understood. Forgetting his uniform meant that Jacob had to go back home. Back to his mother.
"I have spare uniform. You could always just use mine." Troye says helpfully, trying to get Jacob to calm down.
"Troye no offence, but you're tiny. I will never fit into you're clothes, I'm too tall." Jacob sort of laughs in between his sniffles.
"Okay, um. We could buy you some new ones?" Troye says.
"No. I'm not letting you guys spend more money on me, you're already letting me stay here. Besides, my uniform at home is brand new. My mum bought it while I was in England." He groans and flops his head into a pillow.
Troye stands there, trying to think of a solution. He huffs, there is no other option, they're going to have to go back to Jacob's house.
"Okay, we'll go tomorrow."
"Troye, you don't have to come, it's alright. I'll go by mysel-"
"No, you're not going alone, no fucking way!" Troye cuts him off. "I'll be too worried."
"Okay, fine." Jacob says. He holds out both of his arms and Troye crawls into them.

"You ready?" Troye asks Jacob.
They had been preparing all morning for any possible out come of going over to Jacob's house. They had thought about every thing to say and what to do if everything goes wrong. I'm pretty sure they had thought of any situation possible, from her yelling at them to her getting aliens to abduct them from earth.
"Ready as I'll ever be." Jacob sighs.
"Okay, let's go. Bye Mum, I'm not sure when we'll be back." Troye says, turning to face his mother.
"Okay." She turns to Jacob, "Good luck Jake."
Jacob thanks her and gives her a kiss on the check before heading out the door with Troye.
They decided to drive even though it only took about two minutes to get there. They thought if they needed to escape quickly, maybe the car would be the better option.
Jacob was silent for the car drive, but Troye couldn't blame him. If he was in Jacob's position, he'd be shitting himself with nerves.
Troye parks the car out the front of the huge grey house, not daring to park in the driveway. He grabs Jacob's hand, "Lets get this over with."
Jacob nods and Troye gives him a reassuring peck on the lips before getting out of the car and heading towards the front door.
Jacob takes a big breath in and knocks on the front door.
"I'm coming!" They hear Mrs. Bixenman call.
"Shit, why the fuck are we doing this." Jacob mutters under his breath.
The door opens, revealing Mrs. Bixenman. Her smile turns to a stern look in 0.5 seconds once she sees the two boys standing at the door. She goes to shut the door, but Jacob was too quick and puts his foot out, stopping the door from closing.
"Don't worry, we're not here to confront you. I just need my school uniform." Jacob says bluntly.
She doesn't say a word but moves out of their way and keeps as much distance as she can away from the couple, as if they had a contagious disease.
"It's alright." Troye says to her, "You won't catch homosexuality, it's not a disease. We're not going to curse you or anything."
She stays silent, but cowers away slightly. Jacob scoffs and heads upstairs, closely followed by Troye.
They head into Jacob's room and Jacob goes through his cupboard and drawers, getting his uniform and a few other things in his hand.
"Baby, can you carry my laptop?" Jacob asks Troye, as his hands were already full of clothes.
"Sure thing." Troye smiles.
They both head back downstairs. Mrs Bixenman is sitting in the living room, staring blankly at the wall.
"Well, see ya." Jacob says to her.
She doesn't move an inch or make a single sound. Jacob just rolls his eyes and walks out the door. Troye follows.
They pack everything into the car and get in.
"Well that went actually better than expected." Jacob chuckes, "I think her being silent was better than her saying anything."
Troye laughs, "As long as you're not upset, I don't give a fuck what she does." He starts the car.
"She can shove it." Jacob says, "Come on, let's go home."
Troye smiles as wide as the Grand Canyon just by hearing Jacob say that single sentence.
