What I See

I look in the mirror,
And what do I see?
A fat, pathetic monster,
Staring back at me.

Heads too big,
Thighs too wide.
The society we live in,
Has rules I need to abide by.

Stomach too large,
Hair too flat.
Maybe if I starved myself,
I wouldn't be fat.

Stained wrists,
Darkened eyes,
No one said "Hello",
So now I'm saying "Goodbye".
