Chapter 5

Y/n POV:

I smiled to myself as the bell that signaled the end of the day rang. I was excited it was first day at my new part time job at Starlight Cafe. I quickly ran out of class and grabbed my stuff.

"Hey where are you going in such a rush?" I heard Sunmi ask behind me.

I smiled, "I'm going to my first day at my part time job."

"Cool! Where do you work?"

"Starlight Cafe," I said happily.

"Ok then see you tomorrow, but first give me your phone."

I quickly handed her my phone and she smiled as she put her number in my phone.

"See now we can text each other all the time," Sunmi said while she handed me back my phone.

I smiled and nodded excitedly.

"Ok bye! You should get going don't want to be late for your first day!"

I looked at the time on my phone and gasped it was 3:00 my shift starts at 3:30. So I said my goodbyes and ran to the cafe. When I arrived I quickly went to the back and changed into my uniform. (It looks like this, minus the headband)

I smiled to myself as I looked in the mirror. The uniform may or may not be a reason I chose this job. I quickly rushed out to the workers area to hear my responsibilities.

Time skip...

I was cleaning after one of the customers when I heard the door open. Curious I look up to see the customers and I gasp. IT WAS HIM, KIM MINGYU WAS AT MY WORKPLACE! What a terrible coincidence, I mean what are the odds he comes here out of all the cafes in Seoul. I ruffle my hair in annoyance and calm myself down. All 13 of them sit at table and look through the menu. I quietly walk over and smile.

"What can I get for you today?"

They all look up from their menus and Mingyu's eyes widen in recognition. Then he smirks.

"Oh aren't you the new girl at school the one that blushes every time she sees me," I feel my cheeks turn pink, "see there it is, she looks like a tomato."

All of his friends laugh except for one he looks sorry for me. Then I take another look at him and my eyes widen, it's Hoshi! My blush fades and I immediately smile.

"So what would you like to order today?"

"I'll have a cappuccino."

"Make that two please."

"Iced Americano with a slice of cheesecake."

"A hot chocolate with extra whip cream."

"Ooh I'll have that too!"

"A Cortado please."

"One Affogato."

"I'll have the same."

"An iced coffee and a water please."

"A latte with a cinnamon roll."

"A strawberry and banana smoothie."

"Same as him."

"I'll have a caffe mocha and a slice of red velvet cake please."

I quickly wrote down all the orders and gave them to the chef. When they were done I had to take 3 trips. One load had 5 orders while the second had 4. I huffed in exhaustion as I finished giving them the last 4 orders. I mean who normally has to serve a table of thirteen people. When they were done I went up to the table and gave them the check.

"Who's going to pay?" one of them asked.

"How about we play Rock Paper Scissors and whoever wins has to pay."

"Ooh good idea."

I laughed as I watched them play each other more than ten times to see who won. In the end Mingyu ended up having to pay. Said person pouted as he looked at his friends realizing the bill was going to be very high. Mingyu walked up to me to pay.

"That will be 63695.01 won"

Mingyu's eyes widened due to the fact the bill was very high. Then he pulled out his wallet and gave me his credit card. I smiled at him and swiped it. I gave it back and he smiled. Then he walked towards the door to leave.

"See you tomorrow tomato face!" Mingyu yelled while leaving.

I immediately blushed bright red and cursed. How could he call me that it's so annoying.

Time skip...

I yawned as I climbed into my bed. (This is your bed)
