I waited and did light workout until she was done and ready, it was odd seeing her in her normal clothes, I guess I'm just to used to seeing her in her gym clothes, she looked even more beautiful than before.

"So where are we going?"

"The chinese place by Starbucks maybe?"

"Sounds good to me." She said in a tired voice.

We talked about very little the walk over there, she was exhausted and I knew that so I was trying to let her breath for now.

"The weather is nice, seeing as it is January."

"Yeah it's kinda odd, a bit suspicious in my opinion."

When we arrived and were done ordering our food we sat at a table near a window.

"So why do you take physical training?" She said it like it's been clawing at her for days and just needed to ask.

"I had an accident and... Lost a lot of blood and got really hurt, nearly died."

"wow, thats intense. Must have been frightening."

But that was the thing, I wasn't frightened when it happened, I was relieved, I didn't feel any pain at all and I accepted death.

"It was." I didn't want to not sound like a suicidal teen, so I lied.

"What about you? Why do you take physical training?"

"I don't need it, it distracts me from the reason why I was sent to the hospital."

"Why were you sent to the hospital."

"My family was brutalizing me, my father would get drunk and cut me. Sometimes other things happened."

"That's horrible."

"Well, atleast I get to stay in my school dorm while I move in with my aunt, my parents aren't allowed to see me anymore."

It seemed like that was all the information she wanted to share, it quickly explained the scars though and why she spent so much of her time at the hospital. There was a small silence for a few seconds, it was broken by the waitress bringing us our food.

I tried to change the subject and maybe making her laugh, one of the best features about me was I was very funny when I wanted to be. And it worked, we opened up to each other even more and weren't afraid of opening our minds to each other.

We talked about our school, our hobbies and before we knew the time had flown by, it seemed only like a few moments but it had been hours.

"I should probably get going, its getting late."

"Yeah it is, I should also be going back to my dorm anyways, got some homework to do."

When we walked out the exit, she turned to me as I was about to say my farewells.

"I'll see you tomorrow at the hospital"

"I'm looking forward to it."

She then waved at me and went in the opposite direction I had to go. I waved back and went home, looking forward to the next day, I tried to pass the time at home as fast as I could to just get tomorrow going already. What I noticed though was I kept thinking of her, and the smile she had on her face as she waved bye to me after our date, with the sun only hitting one side of her face, it was a bright yellow light, almost like if the sun was setting.
