FOURTEEN

Elle's POV

Sunday was a good day. My brother's and I chilled in the den all day, either watching TV or playing on one of the consoles – luckily there were enough controllers for us all to play at the same time.

Having a chilled day actually made me feel a little bit better. Although I hadn't eaten all day and felt like I had no energy, inside I actually felt a bit better.

However, all this was ruined when Monday came back around, and we had to go back to school.

My brothers had tried to convince me to stay home again, but I just couldn't. As much as I hated school and the work, I liked being with my brothers and hated sitting around all day by myself, with little to do.

I had managed one mouthful of toast and some juice for breakfast, before going and getting ready for school.

I pulled on my black skinny jeans and went to do them up, as I looked down I noticed how roomy they were becoming. I pulled them away from my stomach, oh god, I could almost fit an entire other person in there! Surely, I hadn't lost that much weight from not eating anything all week? It's not like I was starving myself, because I was eating, just not a lot.

I pulled a clean school shirt of Ethan's on and tied it up at my waist before doing my hair and makeup. I put on my minimal, eyebrow gel and mascara before tying my hair up into a ponytail.

I stood up from where I was sat doing my makeup and felt my jeans falling down. "Ugh" I groaned, pulling them back up. I can't be dealing with this all day.

I managed to find a belt in one of my drawers and popped it on. As mum had unpacked for me on one of the days I was at school, I had no idea where she had put everything, so just had to guess each time.

I was putting my shoes on when I heard Caleb shout up the stairs, "Time to go Elle"

"Coming!" I shouted back, grabbing my bag and glasses.

I met my three brother's downstairs and we left the house. Caleb unlocked the car and we all piled in, before he started up the engine and drove us off to school.

Luckily, the morning was stress free. My lessons went fine, and I actually learnt something in Maths! One of my brothers stuck to me at all times, of course, and I was actually feeling a little better. I actually forgot that the wolf inside me was trying to kill me.

"I just need the toilet guys," I said to my brothers standing up, "I'll be back in a second,"

I think that they could sense my good mood and let me go without asking if I was going to be okay, or if I needed one of them to come with me.

I made my way to the bathroom and did my business before coming out and washing my hands. I went to open the door to walk out when it opened, and Alex came walking in.

"What the hell," I said as he shut the door behind him and looked down at me, "You do know this is the girl'sbathroom right Alex?"

He rolled his eyes, he was leant against the bathroom door, so I couldn't get out. He looked down into my green eyes with his own brown ones, it's like he was looking for something, "You're okay" he said quietly, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I asked, snorting a laugh,

"Elle, I'm not joking here," he said seriously, "I was worried about you after Saturday,"

I was confused. Why was he worried about me?

"This isn't the first time that's happened," he went on, "It happened the day before too, when you were with me,"
