[Elle's POV]

A blinding light is forced into my face as I awaken.

"Wakey-wakey," a male voice says,

I groan and look away from the light.

"Eyes forward for me, Gabrielle," the voice speaks again as I feel my face being straightened so I am facing forward.

I manage to pull my eyes open to see a dark shadow in front of me. I can't make out who it is.

"Welcome back," The bright light is moved, and I can now make the person out to be Alpha Dixon.

Everything came flooding back to me. Being locked up into this room, my dad lying to me about everything, Alpha Dixon being Alex's uncle. Alex.

Was Alex in on this? Did he plan to do this to me? Was he really trying to help, or did he just want revenge on my father? Was I going to be hurt for revenge as well?

"I know you're still probably a bit confused, but don't worry. Everything's fine," I hear Alex's uncle say,

I am snapped out of my thoughts and back to reality.

"We're just trying to help you shift," he explains, "We ne-"

"Gabrielle, they're not trying to help you, the-" my dad starts to speak but is cut off,

"Shut up!" Alex's uncle shouts looking towards my dad. He looks back to me and smiles, "We just need to do some tests with you,"

"You're trying to help me?" my eyes narrow,

He nods.

"Why?" I ask,

"Gabrielle, don't li-" my dad speaks again and this time is greeted with a fist to the face from Alex's uncle.

I wince and look away.

"Keep your mouth shut," Alex's uncle says, "And don't think it'll heal because you're in wolfsbane cuffs," he turns back to look at me, "Which are having no effect on your little daughter here,"

I look back towards him, "Wolfsbane?"

"It's a wolves kryptonite, makes them weak, heal slower," he explains before clapping his hands together, "Back to why I'm helping you. Alex asked."

"Alex?" I ask sceptically,

"He wants to help you. When I found out who your dad was, it was my idea to get your father here and get revenge,"

So, Alex didn't have anything to do with this. He actually did want to help me.

But he still bought my dad here to get revenge. I don't know if this is a good or a bad thing.

"We just need to do some tests," Alex's uncle explains to me, before turning around and walking over to the other side of the room, "I want to see if I can get the wolf to come out from inside you,"

I see him pick something up from a table and turn back to me. He flicks a switch and a bolt of electricity runs through the top two bars.

"Wh-what is that?" I ask,

He smirks, "It's a bit like a taser," he walks closer to me, "pressing this against your skin will hurt you and should get a rise from your wolf,"

"N-no, please" I say trying to pull my arms from the chains,

"It'll just be for a second," he says, he's standing right in front of me now.

I scream as he presses the electric rods against my arm. The heat burns the flesh from my arm and the pain runs down my arm and into my body.
