I woke up to Michael clinging to me it was a nice feeling and he was peaceful
He woke up later than usual clinging onto my arm tighter
"Don't leave" he mumbled
Memories cams flooding back to me quickly
"Oh god Christine" I said immediately reaching for my phone seeing several texts off her
Christine❤️: Why do I always feel like I'm second with you, it's always Michael
Christine❤️: Will you call me?
Christine❤️: Jer?
Christine❤️: Please come later, sorry I think I was jealous of Michael or something
Player 2: We'll still come, it's just confusing
Christine❤️: I love you
Player 2: Me too
"I love you" I said out loud in a confused tone
"W-what?" Michael said his face going red
"The words, they're powerful aren't they?"
"Yeah of course" he mumbled
"I love you" I mumbled
"Your my favourite person and my best friend" I said
"What's bringing this on?"
"Nothing" I said holding him closer
"Jeremy! Michael!" My dad walked into my room but I made no effort to get up and move
"Oh hi guys, I'm making pasta, you guys having some before you leave"
"Yeah" I said holding onto Michael
It was quite comfortable but Michael shifted away and sat up as soon as my dad left
"Michaellllll"
His face was a bright red and turned away from me
"What shall we wear tonight?" He asked
"Something smart casual I think"
I began looking through my wardrobe pulling out some casual jeans and a shirt
"I like the red shirt on you" Michael said turning back to me
"Do you want to wear a similar blue one?" I said pulling it out as his face lit up and he nodded
"Boys! Food!"
I walked towards Michael offering my arm as he stood up holding me
"It's better now it's rested" he said but still continued to cling onto me
We sat downstairs and ate peacefully while my dad kept staring at us
"What were you both doing upstairs?" He asked,
"Sleeping"
"Together?"
"Not like that" I said sighing as he starting laughing
"As if! You've both been friends forever!"
"So, do you need dropping off?"
"Dad we're trying to be cool y'know"
We left the dinner table and got dressed into similar outfits and I could tell Michael was nervous
"Michael, I'm going to stick with you" I said damping down my hair trying to make it much flatter
