Three Months Later
Alysha Hill
"Good morning Liam. How was your meeting in Dubai?" I ask as I walk down the street, phone to my ear.
After Maddisons wedding and all the drama of staying at the Hotel del Coronado the 8 Riches and the wives all went out and cleared my name. Now I can walk the streets in peace. It feels weird not to walk in the shadows. I haven't quite figured out if I like it or not.
"Absolutely tiring. I've been away for almost 48 hours." Liam replies and I can hear him stifling a yawn.
"Then go to bed. You need to sleep." I chuckle and dodge a person biking down the footpath.
"I want to talk to you though." He whines.
I roll my eyes and turn down a street with less traffic and pedestrians. "Liam if you don't go to bed and get some sleep I'll go off the grid for a week. Don't argue or I'll make it a month." I say seriously and Liam grumbles unhappily. I listen and can hear him climb into bed.
"I'm in bed alright. Please don't go off the grid." He begs and I laugh.
"I won't. Now go to sleep." I say strictly as I walk through the gates and up the driveway.
"Please let me talk to you a little longer." Liam whines and I smile.
A guard opens the door for me and I nod to them. I begin to silently walk upstairs. "Fine." I day and open a door at the end of the hall smiling widely. "But only for a little while."
Liam dropped his phone as he stared at me. "You were suppose go be in New York." He gasps. I hang up and walk over, closing his bedroom door behind me.
"I am in New York as far as they know." I sit next to him brush his hair from his forehead.
"You snuck back here to see me?" He asks cheekily and I smile.
"I wanted to make sure you slept. I already knew you hadn't slept in for a while. I also know that you're a stubborn git who won't sleep until it's later at night." Liam rolls his eyes at me with a smile.
"You worry too much." He shrugs and pulls my arm so I lay down beside him.
I snuggle closer. "I worry just enough. Now go to sleep. I don't plan to leave. I have all day."
"Good. I find it hard to sleep without being able to hold you." Liam yawns and closes his eyes.
I kiss his cheek before getting more comfortable and closing my eyes as well. "Same here. I like knowing that there's someone there. I hate being alone. It reminds me of my old family." I say quietly.
"Well I'm here for you to cuddle. Now let's sleep because I'm exhausted and I can tell you are too." Liam holds me close and I can hear his breathing slow as he falls asleep.
Slowly the sound of his breathing and beating heart lull me also into a calm, peaceful sleep.

My eyes open abruptly. Liam was still asleep and it was 6 pm. When I look around I see there was no sign or intrusion or anything that could have caused me to wake. "You okay?" Liam mumbles as he slowly begins to wake up.
"Never better. However I am hungry which must be the reason as to why I woke up." I say as I stand up and stretch.
Liam slowly does the same. "You should change." I chuckle as I look at his crumbled suit.
"Yeah. I probably should." He kisses my cheek and walks into the bathroom.
Smiling I walk down stairs and spot the girls sitting in the lounge. They smile as I enter. "Hey Alysha. Aren't you suppose to be in New York?" Ashley asks.
"I'm still in New York as far as they know. I knew Liam needed sleep so I came here and made him. It allowed me to sleep for a little as well." I say as I sit next to Delance on the couch.
"You really like Liam don't you?" Maddison smirks and I feel my cheats beginning to burn in embarrassment.
"I do. I've never liked anyone this much. We'll it isn't really like so much any more. I've kind of like fallen in love with him actually. It's all very new to me. The emotions aren't what I'm use to." I say with an embarrassed smile.
"Aw. That's so cute." Crystal smiles and the girls laugh
There's a loud thump and a bang from the stairs and we rush out to see what it was. The boys all ran from the basement. My eyes widen in shock and fear to see Liam laying sprawled out on the stairs. "Liam?" I quickly walk up to him and kneel by his head.
He groans and slowly sits up with my help. "What happened?" I ask as I look him over.
He attempted to stand but fell onto one knee. "I fell." He said and smiled widely. I frown in confusion.
"I fell in love you Alysha." He says and my eyes widen as he pulls out a white box.
He opens it to reveal a silver ring in the shape a a dragon. It's wings folded up around a dark golden jewel. "I really love you Alysha. You make me crazy in more ways than one. I'd do anything make you happy and to stay with me forever. Will you marry me and officially be apart of my family?" He asks and I felt tears running down my cheeks.
I fan my face and nod quickly. "Yes. Yes I'll marry you. But on one condition. Never do that again. I thought you were seriously injured." I cry and leap into his arms.
"I'll do my best." Liam whispers and slips the ring onto my left ring finger.
"Another one down. Another one down. Another one bites the dust." The girls sing and I laugh as I peck Liam on the lips.
"6 down. 2 to go." I whisper as I look into Liams eyes. He looked back at me, and I could see so much love hidden there. Love that now belonged to me.
I could never have wanted anything more.
