August Pov

After hearing somebody scream, I looked at Travis who was already looking at me.

We looked at the guy that was at the door and he had this scared look on his face.

"Everything aight in there?" I asked.

He shook his head and said "Y-yeah."

Right after he said that, I heard another scream.

I pushed him to the side and ran in the house.

I searched every room but didnt find anything. Just when I was finna turn around, I saw another door.

I walked toward the door and opened it.

I saw Celeste tied up to the bed with tears streaming down her face.

My heart instantly dropped as I ran toward her to unhook her from the bed.

Next thing you know, the door burst open and the man was standing there with a gun in his hand.

"Let her go or I'll kill both of yall right now"

I looked at Celeste and she had this scared look on her face.

I didnt want anything to happen to her so I had to think hard.

I thought about it and continued to untie her.

If he was gonna kill me then at least I'll die trying to save somebody that meant something to me.

Just when I got the last arm untied, I heard gunshots go off.
