"Clem..."
"Hm?" I hum in response, still looking up at the sky.
I love nighttime...
"Will you ever leave me?"
I turn my head towards my best friend, Tomura.
"Why would I leave you? Your my best friend!" I reply with a big, genuine smile.
I pull Tomura into a hug. He hugs me back and buries his face in my chest.
"Your my best friend, too..."
I feel my top get wet.
Tomura must be crying.
"Don't cry...I promise I will never willingly leave you. I promise that we will always be best friends..." I whisper, because his ear was closer to me.
I felt Tomura slowly pull away from the hug. He had tears in his eyes. He held up his right hand and held his pinky out.
"Pinky promise..."
I smile and reply, wrapping my pinky around his,
"Pinky Promise."
"I promise I won't willingly leave you either...I also promise We will always be best friends..."
"Yep! You're like a brother to me!" I exclaim with a bright, genuine smile.
Tomura gives me a big, bright, and genuine smile in response and says, pulling me into a hug,
"And you're like a sister to me!"
I hug him back.
I wished we could stay like that forever...
Happy...little...kids...
Even though both of us had trouble at home...we were happy...

We did keep the promise...
We weren't willingly snatched away from one another...
