issues ?????

i finally watched the breakfast club.

i'm..underwhelmed.

i was so excited to watch it cause everyone always talks about how iconic it is.

but i have a few issues.

1) the jock dude only liked the quiet girl when she had a makeover. what does that teach girls?

2) the redhead kissed the criminal dude after he was horrible to her! she showed no interest in him throughout the whole movie, but at the end, she changed her mind?

3) the smart kid wrote the essays for everyone. even after all that time, they only see him as a brain.

4) the plot was...anti climatic? the whole movie was one day of detention. what was the conflict? what was the climax?

5) the teacher is an idiot. there are tons of scenes that are super loud and there is no way he didn't hear them.

6) they never said anything about breakfast or clubs until the closing scene. they didn't even eat breakfast together..so i don't understand.

overall, i guess it was an okay movie. it just wasn't my fave. and i don't really understand the hype.
