Secrets unveiled

Prologue

A/N- this is the message which was sent to her.

"I know about your mark,it should be hidden from the world," the message said.

I had just cut my 13th birthday cake and was having a very intense conversation with my best friend when suddenly this message appeared on my phone. I was puzzled to receive something like this at such a odd hour,12:30 a.m. It was the 25th of November 2012,the day I had been waiting for. When it finally came,it definitely came with a shock.

I was staring at my phone as if I'd seen a ghost and forgotten about Kady or anyone around me.

"Have you eaten a lizard?" Kady asked. The thought of what she said just disgusted me.

"Eww......................", I made a face. ''Look at this."

I showed her the message and her expression, when she read it resembled mine.

"What the fuck! Who knows our code lang and what does it say about some mark you have?"she replied.

I hesitantly lifted up my shirt and showed her the mark,"Why is it a 'w' and why didn't you ever tell me about it?" she asked angrily.

"Calm down, I never thought it was that important, so I never paid much attention to it."

"Colette, but how could that mark matter to anybody? Not that you showed it to somebody." she asked looking anxious. "I mean........you know."

"How could someone even know about this? Even if anybody did,why would they be so concerned about this little thing?" I was confused.

"Oh, just fuck it up! Let's watch a movie and buddy just cheer up. It's your birthday, after all."

The movie started but I couldn't focus on it. Whatever Kady said, my mind just kept going back to that message. We didn't discuss about it that day, but it definitely was something important. I had a feeling that from that day my life would never be the same........
