Sunlight peeked into my room. The bright light that came in illuminating my dark room irritated me. I wanted to be in my bed all day and wanted to sleep more. I tried to lift up my head to see the time but...something was aching.

My head was throbbing....like someone hammered my head the night before. What happened?I needed a medicine, I needed Aspirin!

Unwillingly I tried my best to get up from the bed but in this state, I was not sure if I'd be able to. Ugh!! I tried again and fell.

"Ouch!"

Taking the support of the table, I slowly stood up. The pain literally was killing me. There were dozens of things running in my head.

Jesus, Colette, stop thinking! Pressing my temples I went downstairs. Rio came running up to me but I didn't have even little energy to pick him.

"Good morning, Colette",Aunt Vanessa said cheerfully taking in my state, "Would you like to have lunch?"

"What's the time?" I asked, groggily. I might've been looking terrible with my nest on my head.

"It's 12 in the noon,dear. I think you need some aspirin", Nessa said handing me one. I quickly gulped it down.

"Effects of drinking too much", Aiden commented never taking his PS4 off. I sat on the couch beside him still pressing my temples.

"How much did you drink last night?" Dan asked keeping his newspaper at a side to focus on me.I shrugged. I could see he was worried.

"Do you even remember anything at all from the party", Nessa asked sitting herself.

"She had 9 tequilas and yep, one bottle of beer", Aiden was amused, "Never thought our darling Scottie would go that far."

"I-last thing that I remember is dancing with Alec...and blacking our. Wait... before that I saw Aiden kissing Kady", I said rubbing my forehead.

"Hold on, what did you just say?"Nessa and Dan asked wide eyed this time.

"That Aiden kissed Kady?", I said then it hit me, "ohmyfreakinggod! My brother kissed Kady."

"I should get going. I promised to meet up with Zach", Aiden said getting up and hurriedly ran for the door.

"Young lad, come back here", Dan said laughing. Aiden stopped in his track and turned around.

"At last, my son manned up. How long did it take you?" Nessa smirked.

"Accurately, it took him 2 years 9 months and 10days", I answered calculating. I could feel the strong glare that was coming from Aiden.

Suddenly the door open, "Hi guys!", Kady got in, "Did I miss something?" She looked at our laughing faces.

"Kady, why don't I take you somewhere out?" Aiden asked pulling her outside.

I stood up on the couch and yelled, "Best of luck brother, make sure you buy the strawberry flavor. She likes it!" Dan and Nessa were laughing.
