Ms. President?
How did he know who I was?
Startled, my legs finally gave out and I landed, yelping, on my ass. My knees locked against each other since I was still wearing the skirt and I don't want this new kid to have the luxury of seeing anything of me.
Even if he is literally a sex god spawn.
"You good?" He asked.
Damn even his voice...
"Peachy." I stood up, dusting my skirt off. "What the hell are you doing here?"
Kian didn't move right away. I tried not to stare but it's hard when a guy with his face starts running his hand through that soft hair. The sleep was still lingering in his eyes until he rubbed them both once.
Why is he so cute?
"Well," he finally climbed to his feet, until he stood up completely.
Why is he so tall?
"I was touring the school and got distracted." Kian explained. "Then I accidentally fell asleep in the library. That vice president's annoying voice woke me up though when he was talking about the school closing and I came out here. The entire building was completely empty, and the doors were locked. I didn't know what to do."
"Why didn't you just go up to one of the guards?" I blinked. "They would open the door for you."
Kian shook his head. "I tried! All they did was try to attack me like I did something wrong."
"Well that's your own fault."
The new guy laughed nervously. "Yeah I suppose it is."
"You're not even wearing your uniform." I continued. "No wonder Hector wanted to get rid of you."
"I'm not easy to get rid of."
"So then how did you end up down here?" I continued asking.
Kian shrugged. "I just kept walking until I saw a light in a room. Turns out it was the student council room and you are one hard working president."
"How did you know I was the president?"
"You get the seat at the end of a long table." Kian responded. "I can put two and two together."
He literally has an answer to every single question I ask. It's almost like he knew what I was gonna ask next and the most reasonable answer that couldn't get him in trouble. His eyes were searching the hallway a couple times before returning to mines. When they met my gaze, a smile curved up on his lips.
And just like that...
My dead heart I never thought could beat again began coming to life.
Kian Moreno...
What the hell are you doing to me?
"Is something wrong, Pres?"
I shook my head a couple times, trying to knock some sense back into my head. What the heck am I thinking?
I can't start looking at this new guy like that. I don't even know that much about him besides what was written down in that folder. I can't help but get the sneaky feeling that there's more to him than he's letting on.
Who are you really, Kian Moreno?
"Just for future reference, you can't stay behind after seven. You can get into some big trouble." I said, as sternly as I can.
"But you can."
"I'm the student body president." I replied. "I'm an exception."
"You're meaning to say you always work into the late nights alone? Where's the rest of the council?"
