Everybody in the proximity looked rather stunned.

I was literally debating on whether I should slap the crap out of the new guy or to just let him do what he came to do. Ultimately, it's gonna have to be the latter because there's no way in hell I'm getting out of this guy's grip.

"Oh, you're Moreno?" Felix bit back. "Then I'll repeat myself: who the fuck do you think you are and why are you touching her?"

"I already told you who I am."

"Your name doesn't tell me shit about you."

"Good. I like to remain a mystery."

"You little –"

"Let's go." Kian's piercing voice softened when he suddenly addressed me. "Our business is done here."

Kian turned us around, so his bigger body is blocking my field of vision from the couple on the opposite end of the room. Good. I appreciate it.

Felix doesn't need to see my puffy red eyes or the tear stains. He doesn't need to know he's the reason for all my tears. Boston was watching the entire thing with eyes as wide as a hawk's but the confusion and fear behind them gave him a more pigeon look. When we started approaching, he held the door open.

"Wait." I grabbed Kian's jacket with a slight tug then turned to Boston when we crossed him. "I'll take the folder and review it. I'll have it done by the end of the day before our council meeting."

"President..." Boston began and he blinked once. The fear and surprised replaced with a warm look that made me almost smile. "Okay."

I reached for the folder but Kian snatched it first. I shot a glare at him, but he just merely smirked at me. "I'll carry it."

We left the classroom and the horrid sight behind without wasting another breath. I just followed Kian without thinking. My entire being was too numb to care about the wandering eyes and the whispers erupting from all the students as we passed.

Wait...

I suddenly scrambled away from Kian's grasp, arms thrown everywhere and so not graceful at all. Kian barely cocked an eyebrow at my weird display.

"What the hell? Where did you come from?" I demanded loudly. "You're not allowed in the council room."

He shrugged. "But I got in there no problem."

"Where did you come from?"

"I followed you after you made eye contact with me and dashed, President." Damn he saw that. "That bruised my ego just a bit." He lifted a hand over his heart and faked a pained emotion.

"I'll bruise more than your ego if you don't stop following me." I snapped back.

"Damn you bite." Kian winked. "But it's pretty cute."

Gasps erupted through some of the students at his comment. My cheeks started blazing the moment those words left his mouth.

"Get back to your lunches, now!" I snapped loudly, and all the students scrambled, every one of them thinking it's just best to leave the area instead of hanging around.

Kian just watched the people run everywhere with an amused nod of his head, pissing me off even more. He met my eyes again and smiled that contagious smile that sent my entire heart into a strange frenzy.

Seriously who is this guy? The only association I was supposed to have with him is his tour guide. I already made sure I fit in everything just before lunch. That way I didn't have to deal with his weird ass for the entire day. The kiss he stole from me is not the main reason for it!
