CHEERS ERUPTED throughout the crowd, changing "State! State! State! State! State! State!" on repeat.

Crowds of people ran at the lacrosse team, praising them for their win. Caught up in the crowd, Scarlett had lost sight of her cousin. Luckily, Jackson was stood not to far from her.

"Hey," She yelled over the sea of chanting students, "You were great out there!" She praised.

"Thank you!" He smiled, pulling her in for a hug.

"Congratulations." She whispered into his ear, followed by a gentle kiss on his cheek.

Jackson stared down at her weirdly, "What?" She asked.

Jackson laughed, "Seriously? I just got us through to the semi-finals and all I get is a kiss on the cheek?"

Scarlett giggled, standing in her tiptoes to press a long, sweet kiss on his soft lips.

"Scarlett." A stern voice interrupted them, the two pulling away to find Scarlett's Uncle Chris.

"Hi, Mr Argent." Jackson greeted.

"Hello, Jackson," Chris nodded in his direction, "You played well out there, well done."

"Thank you, Mr Argent." He told him.

Chris nodded once again before turning to his niece, "Where's Allison?"

"She is. . ." Scarlett searched the area for the archer, spotting her talking to Scott, "Talking to Scott."

"Excuse us, please, Jackson. I need to get Scarlett and Allison home before it's too late," He pardoned, "It was nice seeing you again."

Jackson nodded, "The pleasure is all mine." He held his hand out, clasping it with Chris's in a firm handshake.

Chris lead Scarlett over to her cousin, tapping her lightly on the shoulder to get her to follow them out.

As they left the building, Allison and Chris turned back to look at the lacrosse player. Allison held almost an apologetic look, while Chris gave him a warning look before leaving.

"ALLISON?" SCARLETT knocked lightly on the wooden door, "Are you asleep?"

The door swung open, revealing the tired looking raven haired girl, "No."

"I didn't wake you, did I?" Scarlett asked.
