So this is actually not poetic or in any form of poetry but this an article of mine. A feature article to be exact. And this happened in real life.

Scorching Hearts
Another tragedy has occured.
It was about 1:45 am when I abruptly woke up by the noises outside and the slightly panicking voice of my mom, trying to wake up my father. So I got up before my mom open the door of our room. Fear and worry is very evident in her face as she say that a house nearby is on fire.
And when I looked over the window, there is a wildfire spreading in the atmosphere just a few meters from our home. The usually quiet night-street, became so busy again because of the firetrucks and the people helping to cease out the fire. Not any minute, our neighbors are coming out of their own houses, asking for details about the said fire.
It was a dizzying moment0 for me because I do not know what to do first. If I will pack my clothes or prepare my younger siblings things before mine. But none of them is what I did. For I prayed instead. I prayed and prayed and prayed. Until I heard the fire is soon dying out. Then I suddenly spat out the phrase "Thank you Lord for hearing my prayers".
The once noisy and occupied street is now again, filled with defeaning silence. But I know, that the hearts and mind of the fire victim will always be bothered and it may take a long time before they can attain peace. So let's offer our helping hand and helping heart to pray for them and for their fast recovery and coping up.
