Today was different. Nico didn't rush to say good morning to me with a Mariposa, a white flower that was native to Cuba. He said it was because he would always feel at home with me.

I packed my bags slowly that morning, hoping that I wasn't just some eye candy to him. By the time my cab arrived I felt like crying. Maybe this solo trip was just a bad idea...

"Mi alma.." A warm hand grabbed my wrist. I turned around with a frown, but my heart strings were tugged by his voice.

"I don't want you to forget me, so be my girlfriend?" I laughed at him with salty tears, but nodded my head yes. I would remember that kiss for a lifetime.
