Kurt walked over to the sofa with a soda in each hand. He handed one to Blaine, whose eyes were glued to the TV, and took a sip from the other. "So what's happening now?"

"They're about to start the countdown!" Blaine was so excited, he was almost giddy.

A scratchy countdown from twenty began on the television. "Here it is!"

Blaine slid forward on the couch, his eyes wide as saucers. He had been following the progress of the Moon landing for so long.

Kurt wasn't watching the liftoff. His eyes were on Blaine's profile. He was smiling, but he looked so nervous that one could believe Neil Armstrong was his brother.

As soon as the rocket was successfully in the air, Blaine sat back and exhaled. "Isn't this cool?" He could understand how Kurt wasn't freaking out as much as he was.

"We're watching history," Kurt whispered, his eyes not leaving Blaine.

They didn't talk for a moment.

"Do you want dinner?" Kurt asked. "I could make something, or go pick something up."

Blaine finally made eye contact with Kurt. "Make something. You know how much I love your cooking."

Kurt walked into the kitchen and opened the refrigerator. "What do you want me to make?" He asked.

"Surprise me."

Blaine stayed in the TV room, sometimes watching, sometimes flipping through a magazine or newspaper. Kurt had laid all the articles about the moon landing before Blaine had arrived. He was always doing stuff like that. He always knew what Blaine would enjoy.

A while later, Kurt called Blaine into the kitchen for dinner. "Spaghetti!" Blaine's eyes lit up like a little kid.

"Did anything new happen?" Kurt asked. He loved when Blaine was excited.

"Not really," Blaine answered, with a mouth full of pasta. "I'm gonna watch all night."

Kurt nudged him. "You have work tomorrow!"

Blaine sighed. "I'll listen, then. I'll put it on the radio all night."

Kurt watched Blaine as he rambled on. He wasn't really listening, just watching his expression changing back and forth from excited to thoughtful. Blaine's curly hair flopped in numerous directions, occasionally falling into his eyes.

Kurt reached over and brushed it out of the way. Blaine's forehead tingled after that.

Blaine took their plates into the kitchen and stacked them in the sink. He ran the warm water over them.

"You don't have to do that," Kurt said softly, joining Blaine at the sink.

"Yes I do. You do so much for me. The least I can do is the dishes."

"Fine. But let me help."

After the dishes were done and dry, Blaine glances at the clock radio on the counter and sighed. "Damn, I really should get home."

Kurt put his forehead against Blaine's, his neck angled slightly down. "If I could choose, I'd go to the moon with you," he whispered in Blaine's ear.

Blaine pecked Kurt on the lips and walked away, grabbing his bag.

"We'll watch more tomorrow," Blaine called. He opened the front door.

"And for the record, I would go to the moon with you too."
