To say Betty thought the leader of the Southside Serpents was attractive when he walked into Riverdale High would be an understatement. She was down-right drooling at the sight of him. She knows it's cliche for a good girl to be pining on a bad boy but..

God damn.

Betty was having trouble putting herself together when he first was admitted and it didn't help when he started teasing her about her obvious crush on him.

"Damn Cooper, I could see you undressing me with your stare earlier. You know you can just ask princess?"

Betty clenched her thighs tighter hoping, praying he wasn't anywhere around.

Just when she thought she was safe a dark voice broke the silence of the hallway.

"Heya Cooper" Jughead greeted, a smirk on his face.

Betty jumped and turned around to him,
"Jughead...hi." She spoke awkwardly making him raise a brow.

"Did I interrupt you from something Betts?" He asked, the nickname rolling off his tongue as if he'd been saying it for years.

"Oh, no Jug I was just..thinking." She answered, giving him a small smile. If he could use nicknames so could she in her mind.

Jughead nodded before sighing and putting his hand right by her head against the wall.

Betty gulped.
Here we go again

"Y'know Betty you seem to really enjoy cliches," he started before stepping closer "the perfect girl next door-" he was cut off by Betty's scoff.

"I hate that word."

"-falls for the 'bad boy'. You really need to stop interrupting me like that" he teased, lazily sliding his arm off of the wall and taking out a cigarette.

Betty rolled her eyes, "you can't smoke in here"

"I'm not smoking" he assured before playing with his curls.

"I'm not lighting it, just putting it between my lips"

Betty was astonished, "that doesn't make sense, why do you carry them then?"

Jughead sighed loudly before explaining
"It's a metaphor. I put the thing can kill me between my lips but don't give it the power to"

Betty nodded, she'd forgotten how brilliant he was.

"Do you constantly buy new ones?" She asked innocently, letting her hand play with the collar of his leather jacket.

He looked down at her hand and smiled softly,
"That's the good thing Betty Cooper, If I don't smoke I can just keep packages like these for years"

Betty smiled back at him,
"You're brilliant, weird, but brilliant"

He chucked before grabbing her hands and placing it on his shoulders, Betty got the hint and wrapped her arms around his neck.

He smirked again, getting his cigarette out of his mouth and putting it in his jacket pocket.

His nimble fingers played with the hem of her pink cardigan, inching her closer.

He let one arm around her waist and another caressing her cheek.

He leaned in slowly, making her impatient.
He sensed this and chucked.

Jughead bent down kissing her forehead before the bell went off, she forgot she was on her way to class and had accidentally skipped talking to him.

After the kiss he let go quickly and laughed before hurrying off with his friends, Betty stood there silently in shock.

"God dammit Jones." She muttered under her breath, walking off to class until she felt someone walk behind her.

She turned around to see Jughead again but he seemed less confident then before.

"Betty- hey uh," he stopped for a second as Betty noted how cute he was acting "would you like maybe to- go out with me? We can go to Pop's tomorrow or whatever I don't-" she cut him off kissing him square on the lips, wrapping her arms around his neck.

He kissed back instantly, sighing and smiling in the kiss. She pulled away first, a smile 
on her face.

"Of course I'll go Juggie" she said sweetly, turning and going into her classroom not even giving him a second to answer.

She surely had left him begging this time.
