Lucy's POV:
I put my phone back in my bag and kept walking. As I approach Starbucks I can see Mercedes sitting down by the window. I open the door and start walking towards her.
"Hi!", I said as I took a seat. "Hey!", she said. "I see you got the drinks already", I said with a laugh. "Oh, yeah I thought I might as well just to waste time while I was waiting", she said. "Well thanks for that, next Starbucks drinks on me", I said. "Thanks", she said. "So whats up?"
"Nothing really, just the same old stuff, you?", I said. "Well I actually ran into Scott today", she said. "What!?, wait like your ex boyfriend Scott?"
"Ya, him", she said. "Oh my god, what did he say?"
"Um there wasnt much talking, more like screaming...and running", she said. "What happened?", I said as my eyes widened. "Well he came up to me and he just like hugged me and I started screaming at him to get away from me and he wouldnt listen and then he pushed me!"
"Are you serious?, what did you do after that?", I said. "I pushed him on the ground and started running".
"Oh my god are you okay?", I said. "Yeah, im fine, i just really hate that guy".
"I think we all do, god why does it seem like no matter how hard we try we can never find a guy whos actually worth it?"
"Yeah I know, dont even remind me of your ex", she said. "Jake?", I asked. "Yeah that guy". Just as all the memories of Jake creep into my mind, my phone starts to ring.
