After I leave Lucy I start to walk home, I remember what happened when I first left but I walked anyways.
***at home***
I walk in expecting the worse
"Um... hi mom" I yell
"Mercedes?" she has a bit of sadness in her voice
"Mom? are you ok?"
"Mercedes I know you probably hate me" she says and sniffs
"Mom I don't hate you"
"Mercedes I'm so sorry" it sounds like she's about to cry
"Mom I know you didn't mean it!" I run up to her and hug her
"Oh baby please don't leave, let's be honest to each other from now on ok?"
"Ok what do you want to tell me you first" I say and smile
"Ok, well I just don't want you to grow up and by that I mean wear clothes like that" she says and points to me
"It's ok mom, and I'm going to grow up one day" I say
" I know I just..." she stops then continues
"I just really love you and don't want to see you hurt, and by that you go anything you want to tell me?"
She says and smiles
"Um actually I'm going on a date"
"OH MY GOSH BABY WITH WHO TELL ME EVERYTHING!"
I laugh " mom I'm going with Cameron Dallas!" I say and smile
"Mercedes! I should of never doubted you, I love you, continue"
"Actually mom I have to get ready they should be here in about an hour"
"They?"
"Yeah me cameron Lucy and Nash!"
"She got the guy of her dreams too?"
"Haha yeah she did" I say with a smile
"Well um can I help you pick something out to wear" she says
"Of course mom, lets go they are going to be here in an hour"
I grab my moms hand and lead her to my bedroom and into my closet.
She starts to look through my closet
"Hey how about this" I say and hold up a short strapless black floral dress with an open back
"That's beautiful Hun, here put these on" she holds up black wedges and I take them
I walk into the bathroom and put my dress on
I walk out and spin around slowly for my mom to see
"You look beautiful now let's work on your hair"
"Ok" I say and smile
We walk into the bathroom and I decide to curl my hair at the bottom
"Ok almost done now we just need makeup, how much do you want?" my mom says
"Oh not much just some eye liner lip and lip gloss" (irl if I go somewhere fancy that's all I put on 😂)
"Ok hold still while I do you make up"
5 minutes later I'm ready I walk downstairs put my black wedges on, and suddenly I hear my phone ding
M=Mercedes L:Lucy
*****
L: Did you tell ur parents??
M: Yeah they're okay since ur gonna be there too, did u tell urs?
L: I'm telling them after cuz u know how they ask too many questions and I don't have that much time
M: what did u tell them then?
L: me, u, and Ashley from history last yr r going to dinner so we can catch up
M: and they believed that?
L: haha yupp😂
M: lol see u soon
L: k bye
*****
I walk out the door and as I start walking I hear my mom yell
"Have fun! be safe!"
"I will! I love you" I tell back
"I love you to!!"
****at Lucy's house****
I walk up to the door and ring the door bell
I wait a couple seconds then Lucy answers
"Well hello there" she says in a British accent
"How do you do?" I say trying to follow along,we start laughing when I see mrs. fields aka Lucy's mom walk in
Oh hi Mercedes, how are you?" Lucy's mom asks
"Hi,pretty good, how are you guys?"I say
"We're good thanks, so I hear you're going to dinner?" Lucy's mom says
"No mom, we're going to Mars" Lucy says sarcastically
I laugh a little
"Seriously Lucy?, theres no need for sarcasm", Lucy's mom says a little annoyed.
"I know I know sorry im just in a rush" Lucy says.
"It's okay", Lucy's mom says walking into the living room. After that, me and Lucy walk up to her room
"So they know where to pick us up right?", Lucy asks
"Ya I texted Cam the address".
"Ok great, I'm so excited!"
"Me too!", I say. After that we just sit and wait for Nash and Cam to show up.
