***chapter 14***

I woke up this morning happy as I can be, because one I'm a morning person and two yesterday was the best.day.of.my.life,

I sat up in my bed and saw I had ten different notifications,

'Wow since when did I have so many friends' I thought

I unlocked my phone and read the first message, the first one was from cameron

Cameron💜💙😍:

Hey babe I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out?

So I responded

Heyyy, I'm soooo sorry but I can't hang out today I promised Lucy I would go to the mall with her :(

Aww ok, maybe we can hang out after you go to the mall?

I then went to go look at my other messages, one from my mom, one from my friend catherine, two messages from this guy that I think likes me and six messages from lucy, I laugh and turn off my phone because I was going to text her when I was done getting ready.

I get out of bed and walk downstairs to the kitchen I get an apple from the counter and start eating it, my dad walks into the room and looks at me, my dads never been the talking type even though we are his family he's more of a listener or a people watcher, I wave and he waves back.

"Um dad I'm going to the mall with lucy today is that ok with you?" I say trying to get him to talk to me

"Uh umm I-i guess that's ok" he says and stutters

I smile get up and hug him, he some what hugs/pats back.

I walk to my room and pick out something to wear I decide on a grey sweater from aero postale that says sassy, classy, and a little smart assy on it, I but on plain black leggings and head to my washroom to do my hair brush my teeth and ect

I finish up at the mall with Lucy and we both have so many bags that our arms might fall off

"Today was fun" I say to Lucy

"Yeah I know right" she says loudly while laughing

We both walk to my car I put my bags in the back seat and she puts hers on the ground I hug her and she hugs back

"It was great hanging out with you maybe we can hang out again tomorrow?" she says

"I don't know because I might be hanging out with cameron..." I say

"Well sisters before misters right?" Lucy says

"Yeah ok, see you tomorrow" I say and laugh

I get in my car and wave to Lucy as I drive out, I fumble with my car radio because it's one of those cars where I can have my phone on speaker, I call cameron and turn up the volume,

"Hey" cameron says as I get engulfed with His deep voice

"Heyy" I say making the y at the end longer

"So you want to hang out" cameon says

"Of course" I say

"Great I'll pick you up at 5" cameron says

"Ok, I'll see you then" I say

"I love you Mercedes"

"Same to you cameron" I say

I press the end and keep my eyes on the road.
