Hanji's POV
Letting the dress twirl around me, I giggled a bit... though, my giggle was weak. My first dance I ever created for school... and not to mention, Levi was the one to ask me to the dance as his date. What was weird was that the next day, Erwin asked me to the dance. When I told him that I was already taken, he chuckled. Ever since he chuckled, it made me wonder why he was amused by it... perhaps I'll ask him...
Pushing that aside, I smiled, knowing that Levi was gonna be there... and I couldn't wait to see him there...

After 2 hours of preparing the gyms for the winter dance, I waited on the side, hoping Levi kept his promise. If he didn't, well, I do have a list of things I will do to him... but as he promised, he came.
Wearing the tuxedo I recommended... he looked lost, panicky even. His eyes swarmed for me as he searched. Grinning, I raised my hand to signal him, and once Levi saw me, he groaned in defeat, yet relieved. He slowly makes his way towards me and when he was able to speak, the speakers drowned his voice in popular music.
His mouth moved, but I couldn't hear him. So, I pulled his arm, and lured him out of the gym. As soon as we were out, Levi threw his arm out of my grip. "What the hell was that for, Hanji?" He asked; his tone was more like anger... but I can hear the relief in his voice.
"I-I couldn't hear you... sorry..." I say to him as we walked over to the snack bar, which surprises me that hardly anyone was there. Picking up some chocolate chip cookies, I listened to Levi's speech.
"Anyways, you look... er, nice." He says as he looks at a brownie.
Looking at him, I smirked, "Go on. Eat one. It's just a snack bar after all." I joked to him as I ate a cookie. He takes my advice and picks one up, delicately taking a bite as if it's poison.
Chuckling softly, he continues his talk. "W-What else are we doing here?" He questions. "I'm sure you just don't stand by the bar and eat- do you?"
Mid-bite of my cookie, I tried to answer him. "A-A biff. I normfuffy eat food." I tried to say, but Levi sighed heavily.
"Jeez, woman. Eat your damn food before speaking. No one can hear you properly if you keep acting like that." Amusement filled his voice as he grabs another brownie. Lovely... hearing the amusement made me smile a bit, knowing that this person does have human-like feelings.
Swallowing a bit, I answered him clearly. "I usually don't dance or anything like that... just hang out near the snack bar. Hang out with some friends, not really a dancer."
He chuckles a bit and he tugs on my arm, "I'm not really of a dancer as well. But, should we try and dance, Hanji?"
"Eh?" My face grew warm with embarrassment as he pulled me away towards the gym. "L-Levi! I-I'm not gonna dance! N-Not there!" Resisting from the urge to walk with him. Pulling my arm back, I realized how his grip became iron. "Levi!"
He chuckles once more as we walked into the music-filled gym. The music overpowered his voice, so as he spoke, he shouted at the top of the lungs. "Why not?!"
Shouting at the top of my lungs as well, "I-I don't dance, Levi! I-I'm not good at it!"
"So?! I'm not as well!" As soon as he grabbed my hands, the tempo changed and the music changed to a slow song. Most people on the floor left and they all started to dance slowly. "I guess, move to the beat?"
Levi started to try to move, but it was awkward and funny a bit. Giggling softly, I tried to follow his lead, to make it seem less embarrassing for him. Levi grabbed my hands, gripping it tightly and started to move me.
What's more embarrassing than dancing with Levi was that everyone's eyes were on us. They burned through me, and I could've sworn that I heard some people laughing. Not to mention I saw flashes of light aimed at me... and the feeling grew overwhelming...
I couldn't take it anymore, so I tore my hands away from Levi's and ran out of the gym. "H-Hanji!" Was all I heard Levi cry to me as I left. The laughing, giggling, and the pointing never stopped... oh, it just echoed in my head. As I ran outside, I took a few breathes before collapsing in the frost. The feeling started to freeze my legs, but I didn't care... I just wanted it all gone.
Soon, Levi ran outside, panting. "Hanji..." He slowly walks over to me as the tears slipped down, freezing my cheeks. He knelt next to me, his arm on my shoulder and he started to rub me. "Hanji, what's wrong?"
Wiping the tears away, I looked right at him. "T-They were laughing at me... I-I heard them. Call me crazy, but I heard them. I swear, I think they also took pictures of me..."
"Then... I'll make them pay." Looking to him, the clouds in his eyes turned to stone. "Come on, you don't deserve that hate..." He lifts me from the frost, wiping my tears with his thumb. "I-It's not much, but... I'm sure we'll be just fine in the treehouse, is that okay?"
"M-My parents won't allow me-"
"Just, make up an excuse. Say that... er, you're staying at a friend's house for tonight. Technically, it's not a lie... because it is true. It's technically my treehouse..."
Nodding, I accepted his invitation. As we walked there, I texted my mom that I was staying at a friend's house and that my mother said, "As long as you get home safe, I don't mind."

Levi, being the gentleman/bad boy he was, allowed me to go climb the ladder first. Midway, I looked down to see him trying not to look up. He fidgeted with his fingers and paced as he waited. "L-Levi... why don't you get started climbing?"
Once more, he didn't look up. "B-Because... look what you're wearing, Hanji..." He said it so nervously. Once I recognized why... my face grew red with embarrassment and quickly made my way up there.
Sitting up there, I called down to Levi, giving him permission to climb up. While he was making his way up there, I used my phone to shine some light, hoping to find some matches or some kind of lantern. Finding a small lantern, I turned it on and placed it in the middle of the treehouse, which was at the same time as Levi got in.
He chuckles softly, "You found it... I'm surprised..."
"It wasn't too hard to find, since it's so clean..."
Levi finishes climbing up and he grabs a blanket. He looks at me with his eyes and motioned me to sit next to him. As I did that, he wrapped the blanket around me, and I snuggled close to him. It felt... nice being near him... he felt warm and that he was very comfortable...
"Heh... you're being cute..." He says as I started to drift to sleep. Before he did, he takes the glasses and puts them to the side. Levi started to nuzzle my neck, making me giggle a bit before I did fall asleep...
