Chapter 16

Kaitlin POV

He kissed me. His arms around my waist, his lip ring fitting into the groove of my lips. I pushed him off of me. "What the hell?" I asked.

"I- I'm sorry." I left the room and went back to mine. 

"Dani, can I please be alone tonight? Sorry, I just need to think." 

"It's fine. Goodnight Kate." 

"Night Dan." She grabbed some stuff and went to her sisters' room. I sighed and laid on the bed. Luke kissed me. He kissed me. I can't believe he did that. Oh my god. Thoughts ran through my head, and tried to get to sleep, but I failed.

The worst thing about Luke kissing me is that...I liked it.

Luke POV

"Do you know what's going on?" Ashton asked as he sat came into my room. 

"Know what?" I asked. 

"Dani just left Kaitlin's room, crying. I went to check on Lis- um I mean the girls and they told me." He said. 

"If I tell you this, you won't tell anyone else, right?" Ash nodded. I closed my eyes. "I kissed her." 

"Are you serious?" I nodded my head. "Alright, I'm not gonna yell at you. I'm just gonna talk. That's gonna hurt Dani, hard. And that'll hurt Kaitlin. Did you want that?" 

"No, that's the exact opposite of what I want." 

"Kissing her won't make her happy. She was already happy with Dani." Those words broke me. Ashton is right. That didn't help anyone.

Lisa POV

"Dani, just because she wanted a night by herself, doesn't mean she doesn't love you." I told my baby sister. She sighed. 

"I know, but she went to talk to Luke first, and I think he might have something to do with it." 

"Okay...but just, try to think of it as a night with us, c'mon, we miss hearing your music when we wake up. Or your sleep talking. Or-" 

"Okay, I guess it wasn't that bad. But I'm tired, let's go to bed." She said. I agreed, and made Lauren turn off the lights for us.

Kaitlin POV

I didn't sleep last night. I was to busy thinking about Luke. Why can't I get him out of my head? I'm dating Dani and I love her. Simple. But he kissed me in a way that I haven't been kissed before, this had been different. Cutting me off in the middle of my sentence and it was as gentle. I can't believe myself. I can't love two people at once.

I decided to take a shower, hoping the hot water would calm me down. After I was done, I got changed into black skinny jeans, a t-shirt I cut the sleeves off of, and a navy blue beanie. The guys have started to rub off on me...

I packed my stuff, and headed to Lisa, Lauren, and Dani's room. I knocked on the door. 

"Hey Lisa." I greeted her. 

"Hey Kaitlin. Um, can I talk to you?" I nodded. Lauren and Dan were somewhere else, probably with Cal. Lauren and him have become close, as in like, friends. "It's about Dani. What happened last night?" I let out a breath. 

"Um, Luke kissed me. I didn't tell her, though. Just asked her if I could spend last night alone." 

"Um, what?" She asked, surprised.

"He kissed me. I didn't want it to happen. Lisa, please don't tell Dani." She nodded, understanding. 

"Does anybody else know?" I shook my head.
