"Everything you ever wanted , is one step outside your comfort zone"
Chapter II
Rei's POV
I don't know why I'm here and why I decided to stay with A sad girl named Hoshina. She struggles at everything except Painting. She hesitates and she can't decide. I find her annoying at first but as time went by, I get to know why. Her mother only showed her the bad side of the world and now she's trap in her Painting refusing to step out.
Just like a paint, she's silent and kind but what she does not know is that she is capable of making the whole world her canvas and paint it the way she wanted it to. I wanted to let her do whatever she wants but I feel useless every time she cries and end her day with a painting of emptiness inside.
"Rei? " she smiles. "Thank you for being with me" everything was perfect except there was sadness in her eyes. I guess this was the reason why I stayed. Those eyes that telling me to stay, those eyes that need me and the only eyes thats telling me that I exist.
I went closer to her and patted her head. peeked on what she was painting and this time it showed her school at night. One tiny girl at the center and a little glow at her side. Her painting never failed to convey what she was feeling. Even the tiniest details are telling the story. " A Sad Reality" she wrote. She seemed aware of things but she decided to close her eyes.
I sat beside her and looked at her, "you know, the world is beautiful. You just have to step out and experience it's beauty"
"How do you know?" She asked.
"Because I experienced it" I answered.
"You're Joking."
"I guess"
Maybe I am , but My heart tells me that the world is beautiful and kind.
"Wanna walk outside?" I asked. She hesitated but she decided to say yes. She opened her door and stepped out. I felt happiness in every step she took but at the same time I felt sadness.
" when you finally find happiness outside, would you need me again?" I whispered looking at her back slowly going away.
" REIIIII" she called and I walked fast to her.
"What-" I stopped looking at a tiny creature in her hand.
"Meow"
"I found a cat!"
