I really want to go back and edit the heck out of the first couple of chapters... but I have too much homework to do anything else but update. :( Sad life.

      Recap:

"It's not a coincidence, Byeol-ah." Yoongi corrects her, "We're Mins. Music is in our blood."

"When did he say they'd get back, again?" Jimin asks for the hundredth time this evening.

Jin sighs and scowls in the younger boy's direction, already frustrated enough from reapplying the ointments and bandages on Hobi's face, sweeping up the last disaster zone of the God of Destruction, and keeping the youngest two from devouring the entire fridge. The entire day has been hectic without Yoongi there to keep them all (mildly) under control, and it isn't even over yet. Dinner still has to be made, the youngest two (and Namjoon) have to be reminded (threatened until they submit) to clean their rooms, and there's a full load of dishes to be unloaded.

In short, Jin has enough to deal with besides Jimin's incessant questions. Jin has a mind to outright smack the boy upside the head, but when he meets Jimin's gaze, sparkling with longing and excitement, he can't help but answer the poor boy's question anyway.

"Yoongi said that they would be back before dark." The oldest keeps his tone as sweet as possible, trying not to lash out with any of his acidic irritation on the already worried boy, "And Yoongi's a man of his word, so I expect him back before dark like he said he would be. Does that answer your question?"

Jimin slumps in his seat, a tired sigh escaping his pouty lips. He nods, and then lowers his head into his hands.

"I'm sorry, hyung. I just~" Jimin says softly, his eyes never leaving the sliver of the front door that he can see from his seat at the dining room table, "I just... miss them. Is that bad?"

Miss them? Jin snorts. That's the understatement of the century! I don't know what kind of extreme missing you think this is, Park Jimin. It's almost like you have separation anxiety.

"It's not bad, Jimin-ah." Jin attempts to soothe the overly-sensitive boy without leaving his post in the kitchen. Jin's hands continue whisking the batter even as he speaks, deftly acting as a therapist and a professional chef at the same time, "It just shows that maybe you're very... attached. But it's not bad."

"I feel like I have no right to miss her." Jimin admits, his usually cheerful face dull. Jimin's eyes swim with negative emotions that make Jin want to feed the orange haired boy sugar cookies, "I'm not her brother."

What does being her brother have to do with anything? Jin wonders, now staring openly at the younger member in confusion. Jimin found her, and he's known her longer than any of the rest of us beside Yoongi. Does that give him enough "right"?

"But you're her best friend, aren't you?" Jin furrows his eyebrows, unable to follow Jimin's logic, "Best friends can miss each other too! It's completely normal to miss your best friend. There's no need to feel bad, Jimin-ah."

"She's never referred to me as her best friend before." Jimin sniffs, scratching at his nose, "Just a friend. A nobody she happened to meet at her favorite cafe."

A nobody? Jin can feel the conversation taking a turn for the worse. Where is all of this coming from?

      "You're not a nobod-"
