Chapter 2

Heeeeey again! Thanks so much for reading the first chapter, I hope you enjoyed it and it wasn't too terrible. Enjoy this chapter! Oh also this chapter will be more from Michael's perspective.

Michael looked at the blushing boy infront of him and he couldn't help but smile. The boys adorable awkwardness and cute curly brown hair made hime perfect crush material...NO MICHAEL WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? YOU CANT FALL FOR THIS GUY! DUDE HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND! Michael's voice echoed in his head. But every time he looked at Jeremy he couldn't help but smile.
The boys walked down the beach laughing with each other as they ate their froyo. "And then Rich burned down the whole house!" Laughed Michael. Rich was red in the face. "Yeah, what a night that was!" Michael turned to look at Jeremy who didn't seem to be listening as he was thinking about something else. "Are you alright Jeremy?" "What? Uhh yeah I'm-im fine" Jeremy stuttered. Rich started to laugh. "Man Jeremy you stutter a lot!" "Ye-yeah I guess I do" Michael could see that there was something wrong with Jeremy but he didn't question him.
The sun began to set on the sea and and orange glow lit  up the boys as they sat on the sand. There was a sudden noise from Rich's pocket, it was his phone. "Sorry guys it's my mom" Rich stepped away quickly. Michael and Jeremy sat in silence for an embarrassingly long time before Michael finally spoke up. "So um, I guess you need to go meet your girlfriend somewhere" Jeremy was quiet. "Is something wrong?" Jeremy turned to Michael and Michael smiled and blushed, making Jeremy do the same. The boys looked away from each other trying to hide their blushing faces. "If you have to go..." Michael said looking out to the water. "I'd like to see you again." "I'd like to see you too." Jeremy spoke up.  Michael handed Jeremy a slip of paper with a number on it. "If your ever free and wanna meet up, just text me" Jeremy looked up at Michael. "I-I will" he said, hopelessly blushing and smiling like an idiot. And without saying another word Michael stood up and walked away.
Jeremy looked down at the number in his hand. Was this really happening? Has he just got this cute guys number?? Suddenly Jeremy's thoughts drifted back to Christine. Christine... that guy... Christine couldn't be cheating on me, could she? Jeremy felt anxious and so he called Christine. After a few rings Christine's voice came through the phone. "Hey it's Christine! Sorry I missed your call! Leave a message if you reaaaally need to hit me up or call me back later!" Her voice was followed by a long beeeeeeeep. Jeremy hung up. He could feel a tear trickle down his face. He loved Christine, he thought she loved him back. Jeremy's sadness turned to anger as he thought about the voice on the phone earlier. "Hey Christine babe you coming back over here?" He knew it was a guys voice but Christine only said she was with Chloe Brooke and Jenna. How could she lie to him like that? Jeremy was about to call her when he noticed the slip of paper Michael had given him. Two can play at your game Christine. Thought Jeremy as he saved Michael's number into his phone, making the contact name "Michael❤️"
