Hiiii! Thanks a lot for reading his far onto the story, I hope you're enjoying it! I just wanted to say that I'm not going to be publishing chapters very frequently. I'll probably post one every week but I'll try to write as much as I can. Enjoy the chapter!

Michael's phone screen lit up with a text from Rich. "Hey Micha! Was wondering if you wanted to hang out today? Just the two of us? Cya soon!" Michael wrote back. "Sure! What time do ya wanna meet? I'll be later cause I'm with Jeremy today but I can meet you at the pier around 3?" Michael hit send. Jeremy wriggled from underneath his arm. "Who are you texting?" He asked. "Just Rich, he want to hang out later" Jeremy nuzzled into Michael's chest. Michael had his arm around Jeremy as they lay on his couch. They were watching some reality tv show that Michael wasn't paying attention to. Jeremy wasn't paying any attention either, he was too busy cuddling up to Michael. Michael smiled. He was happy with Jeremy. He was in love.

Jeremy was in love. Again. He had moved on from Christine, he hardly ever thought about her anymore. Christine thought she'd never think about Jeremy again either, but here she was, scrolling through her Jeremy's Instagram, looking at the pictures of her and Jeremy. She sighed as she saw pictures of Jeremy kissing her cheek, surrounded by autumn leaves. Then she swiped to see a selfie of her leaning on Jeremy's chest, smiling. What am I doing? She thought, holding her face in her hands. I can't believe... I miss him. She felt sad, but a strange kind of sad. She felt a wave of jealousy sweep over her as she found the most recent picture Jeremy had posted. It was Jeremy underneath the arm of a boy in a red hoodie. Christine scowled. How could he move on so quickly like that? He loved me, he shouldn't love anyone else. Especially a guy. She knew she shouldn't feel like this, but she couldn't help it. Maybe she still loved Jeremy, maybe she still wanted to be with him. You can't be with him Christine, he's with someone else now! .....But what if he wasn't?

"Rich! How's it hangin?" Michael said walking up to Rich and hi-fiving him. "Heeey Micha! How's things with Jere bear?" Rich laughed. Michael blushed. "Jere bear?" Michael giggled, flushed with embarrassment. Rich only laughed back. "You'll come up with some cutesy nickname eventually Micha, might as well give you a few ideas" Rich smirked. Michael blushed and started walking towards an ice cream shop. "Hungry for ice cream Michael?" Rich slipped up behind him. They were at the counter and Michael couldn't decide which flavour to have. "Cotton Candy or smarties?" Michael asked. "Wish there were crystal Pepsi flavours" Rich said as he licked his chocolate brownie ice cream. "Cotton candy it is then" Michael shrugged. They strolled along the pier as they ate their ice creams, laughing and joking. Rich kept staring at Michael strangely, and Michael couldn't work out what he was thinking. "Rich, you okay?" Michael asked. Rich stopped. "Wh-wh- I'm fine!" Rich stuttered, forcing a smile. Michael looked concerned. "No, you're not" He said as he took Rich's hands. Rich looked up at Michael. He looked as if he was about to cry, or laugh, Michael couldn't tell. But he didn't cry, or laugh. His face stayed serious as he stared at the red hoodied boy in front of him. "Rich, talk to me! If there's something wrong you can ju-" Without warning Rich kissed Michael. He put his hands around Michael's neck, kissing him softly. Michael was too stunned to move. He didn't kiss him back, but he didn't stop him either. Rich finally pulled away from Michael. They both stared at each other, stunned at what had just happened. Rich put a hand to his mouth as if he realised what he'd just done. "Oh shit" he muffled under his hand. Rich ran down the pier, past ice cream shops and cafes. "Wait! Rich!" Michael shouted from behind him. "Rich, please come back!" He continued to yell as he ran after him. Rich kept on running until he realised he was out of breath. He collapsed tiredly onto a nearby bench. Michael caught up with him and
sat next to him on the bench, breathing heavily. "I think you've got a lot of explaining to do."
Jeremy's phone lit up with a text. He was expecting to see Michael's name but instead he saw a name he would rather never see again. Christine... He picked up the phone and read it. What could Christine possibly want? "Hi Jeremy, I know we've had a rough patch with our breakup but I'd really want to see you again. Just so we can stay friends you know? I hope you understand xx"She wanted to be friends? After what she had done? Jeremy almost immediately blocked her number but something stopped him. He didn't have to cause drama like Christine, he could just resolve things and make them both happy again. He quickly typed a response. "Thanks Christine, I'd like to be friends too. Meet me at Bridges cafe, at 6." He hit send and waited for Christine to respond.
