"But—" sabi niya, pero agad ko namang pinutol. "I'm okay, Persephone." I said to her, giving her an assuring smile. She pouted as she slowly nodded.

I let go of the hug when my phone beeped. I unlocked it, at bumungad naman ang message ni Joaquin.
