Diagnosed.

Third grader Frehley Gilmore was the average child. She loved her family and friends with all her heart. She played softball and enjoyed being with her guinea pig dodo. :) Frehley was a spunky, happy, funny and creative girl. One of a kind and very one knew it. Until a dreadful day came around... Im going to tell you about a story... The true story of Frehley June Gilmore...

"Mom my head hurts again." Frehley cried. It was February 2011 and Frehley had another horrible headache.

"Mom i think its the flu again" Frehley whined.

It was march 2011 and Frehley got the flu for the 3rd time in 3 months.

"Frehley, lets go to the hospital." Lisa (frehleys mom) said. It was may 2011 and Frehley was always sick. They arrived at the doctors office soon. They ran some tests of Frehley. It took countless hours. And many tests. But they needed to find the problem. Frehley was sick of being sick. But it wasnt over yet... It would only get worse...

"Mrs Gilmore..." The doctor walked into the waiting room.

"Im sorry for what im about to tell you..."

Fear washed over Lisa as she heard what no mother wants to hear for their 8 year old daughter... Something no mother should ever have to her at all... "We have diagnosed Frehley with a tumor in her brain... But we caught it fairly early... It won't take much to remove it. Only a simple procedure that we perform quite often"

Lisa felt a tear going down her cheek. As she nodded. She fallowed the doctor into frehleys hospital room.

"Hey junebug" she said

"Hi" Frehley replied with a smile.

"So are you scared?" Lisa asked

"Im not afraid mom. *laugh* at least we know whats wrong. And we can fix it."

A few weeks later Frehley had her surgery. Her neighbor Shelby (pretty much frehleys big sister) and best friends Halle and Kate arrived at the hospital to find Frehley almost as good as new. She was herself. And she was happy as ever. It was almost as if nothing had happened.

Frehley returned home where she was welcomed by friends and family and all returned to normal... For now...
