Chapter 7

THIRD PERSON POV

The day resumed just fine, looking at the sunny day and then waited for the bell to rang, indicating its recess time. Why? For Yunbi that is. How fortunate for her class when the teacher and the substitute teacher were absent, making their class empty. It's not that it's a good thing but every once in a while some break would be suffice. As other students fooling around, some sleeping, Yunbi was focusing on her work, wanting to finish everything. She was doing her homework when her table was knocked by her seatmate. "Oi, Miss Beaut, enjoy life a bit." He said, chuckling. Yunbi couldn't help but to chuckle too, stretching out as she looked at him. "Yes Taehyun, what brings you to this humble, lowly table of mine?" She replied back, raising her brows as she crossed her arms. She is used to him being a crackhead. It's how they mingle in the first place.

With a soft sigh, Taehyun made a dramatic gasp, including putting his hand on his mouth in a 'gasply manner' and then ruffled her hair. It made her furious a little. "Really? I just did my hair!" She huffed, rather pissed. Taehyun let out a small laugh, nodding his head. "I know, which is why I love to mess it up." He said, then ruffled her hair again. Their banter were noticed by a few of them, which made some rumours fly. How on earth those rumours never reach Yunbi's ears? Who knows...

"Yunbi! Someone is at the door." A voice called out, which made both Taehyun and Yunbi turned their heads to the door. There stood Yixing with a smile, waving his hand. Nodding her head, Yunbi got up and looked at Taehyun. "Alright, I'll be heading out first. Do you need anything?" She said, looking at him. The male shake his head, waving at her. "Don't worry about me. Go, your boy is waiting." He said, gently pushing her as she laughed. "I know I know." She said, heading to Yixing. Unknown by her, Yixing had been staring at Yunbi and Taehyun since early on. Their class ended early and he knows that her class has no teacher, based on the chaotic moments just a while ago. He saw how Taehyun gazed at Yunbi. He tried to think positively but seeing that familiar gaze, the male couldn't help but to feel jealous about it. He brazenly fool around with her and what made him pissed even more is that she actually feels comfortable around him.

Are they more than just seatmates? His inner mind wanders as he tried to keep his composure. As Yunbi was preoccupied by something else, Yixing gave a glare, a threatening glare to Taehyun, as if sending a warning. Taehyun saw the glare, gave a small smug instead, replying back. Of course, anyone that watches them close enough can see the tense between both Yixing and Taehyun. They parted just like that, with Yunbi being oblivious about that encounter.

"So, what do you want to eat?" Now that Yixing has her full attention, he can be all cutesy again. The man still gazed around, looking at potential threats as he kept his guard. Seeing one guy is enough, he didn't want the hate list to be long. Yunbi thought a bit, shaking her head. "I have no idea what to eat. Let's just find a seat first." She said, as they reached the cafeteria. They were looking around when Xiumin's hand shot up in the air, waving at them. "Guys! We saved a seat for you. Just take your food and we'll chat more." He added, when they reached the table. At the table sat Xiumin, Kris, Luhan and Suho. Nodding, both Yunbi and Yixing went to the counter to take the food. Coming back, they took a seat, with Yixing in between Xiumin and Kris and Yunbi between Suho and Luhan. They looked at each other and shrugged. The rest of them were eating too, then stare at them both.

"Just eat, guys... If you actually stay staring at each other, it won't happen anything. The food is waiting." Kris spoke up, looking at both Yunbi and Yixing, chuckling. Suho looked at Kris, clapping his hands a bit. "Oh wow, the galaxy has spoken. You two, thy galaxy has spoken, we should heed the wise words and we should- ack! Wu Yifan!" Suho said again, glaring at the man. Kris just gave a smile, then eat his food in a silent manner. Yunbi saw the banter, looking at each other while giving a questioning look.

Yixing saw her confused look, giving a soft smile. "I believe since the day we dated, I haven't properly introduced you to them, right? That's my fault." He said, grinning and chuckling. He does gave this guilty look, even when the rest of the members were not buying it. "Yeah, right, Xing. You just snatch her and hid it under your wings." Luhan said, scoffing as his argument was supported by the rest of them. Their small argument made Yunbi smiled, nodding her head. "I think I should properly introduce myself too." She said.

She put her hand on her sternum, bowing a bit. "My name is Kim Yunbi. I am from class 1 and I am currently Yixing's girlfriend." She said, letting out a soft giggle, tilting her head. She didn't know what to react or what to say so she just said anything that comes in her mind. Yixing saw her introduction, baffled and laughed, leaving the rest of them baffled a bit. That's an oversimplification and it's easy! Well, they are bunch of crackheads to begin with. Yixing nodded his head, waving his arm. "Now, I'll re-introduce myself, just for my little angel whom I greatly possessive over-" He joked a bit, even when the line carries some truth in it. Fortunately, it was brushed over by the rest of the team, as if it was just another cheesy lines.

"So, My name is Zhang Yixing, or people call me by my nickname, Lay. You can call me Lay but I prefer if you call me Yixing. Only EXO and you call me by my real name. I don't like sponsoring out my real name it's too mouthful to pronouns." He explained, then smiled. Yunbi nodded her head, looking at Yixing before turning to her right, seeing Kris waving his hand. "My name is Wu Yifan, the one which Suho said earlier. It's a mouthful too so, Kris would be enough. You can call me Yifan if you want to, I don't mind either way. Whichever you feel like it." Kris introduced himself, which Xiumin then piped in. "... Well that is if you want to. Kris here, has another name. He is called the Kresus of Galaxy. His lips just spouts wise words and wiser wisdom. Just don't take any of the advice- ow!" He said, then laughed, seeing Kris's face blushing red, annoyed and embarrassed.

Xiumin rubbed his head a few times again, shaking his head as he felt the pain of being smack earlier. "I am Kim Minseok but thanks to these people, I'm being called Xiumin. Minseok will be fine by me. Also I did some side gig, hot buns. If you want some, just rang me and I'll stock you up." He said, giving a peace and then grinned happily. Luhan's next, raising his arm up. "Okay I'm next. My name is Xi Luhan. If you're looking for me, just find me in the football clubroom. You'll see it either way." He said, waving warmly at Yunbi. Unknown by Yunbi, Lay was eyeing secretly over Luhan, glaring as he stared at the man, then away. He's pissed, seeing Yunbi's different expression when Luhan introduced.

And lastly, the rest of the gang eyed over the last person who hasn't introduced. He made a fake cough and a dramatic gaze. "Oh please excuse my little babies. They are bunch of idiots." He said, which caused a small uproar at their table, alerting a few stares from the surroundings. They died down the uproar quickly, then back to the introduction. "My name is Suho or Kim Joonmyeon. You can call me Suho or Joonmyeon. Honestly I don't mind any calling-" He wanted to add more but of course, his friends would never allowed it.

"-like mama..." Luhan said. "-or sugar daddy..." Xiumin said.  "-Wait a better term is daddy~" Even Yixing piped in too. "Or the best term is KEEP QUIET!" Suho spoke the last one rather angry, which made them all laugh. He sighed, putting his hand on his forehead. "But yes, Suho or Joonmyeon is fine by me. And that concludes all of us. We'll be meeting the others later and you'll know them too." He added more, smiling. For a while, Yunbi felt the acceptance coming from them all. She liked it. Somehow she felt thankful towards Yixing.
