Chapter 2

3rd POV
Cliff
Students stood along the cliff, prepared for their initiation... Well, not all of them. Wraith was nowhere to be seen and tessa was worrying because he was the closest thing to a freind she had... And she may have developed a small crush on the masked man.
"you will be monitored and graded throughout your initiation, your objective is to navigate through the forest, get to the temple and grab a relic. Also, let me clear up the rumours about teams. You will be given teams.. Today, that being said, the first person you make eye contact with will be your partner for the rest of your time at this school. Any questions?" asked Ozpin
" ye, um sir?" asked jaune
" good, take you positions" he said, completely ignoring jaune.
Just as everyone was getting into position, their attention was grabbed by the limping student slowly walking past all of them. Everyone was confused except tessa who looked on in concern.
"sorry I'm late, I woke up late" he rasped, staring at ozpin.
"no problem" the headmaster replied.

Y/N POV
Fucking huntsman, got a lucky shot and tore through my ribs with what could only be described as a revolver on steroids, though I got my revenge and stabbed him in the side of the throat.
Students were starting to get launched into the forest, me being last considering I was on the other side of where students were getting launched. Finally, I was the last one but I wasn't launched like I expected, instead.. Ozpin started talking.
"so... You overslept?" he asked
"yes sir" I replied
"so you had nothing to do with that ex huntsmen turned serial killer who turned up dead last night?"
"so that's why he was wanted dead" I replied nonchalantly, surprising glynda and ozpin that I out right admitted to killing the ex huntsmen.
"so you did kill him?" asked ozpin.
"don't seem so surprised dumbledore, you knew I'd continue my business."
"its not that... Its just.. You took down a huntsmen Mr L/N, that's very impressive for your age"
"well thankyou dumbledore, your so kind, miss fifty shades would you kind-" I was cut off as the woman in question launched me off the cliff and into the forest.

Sailing through the air, i realised how peaceful it was before I started plummeting towards the ground. Locking eyes with a tree I activated my sembelence, instantly teleporting me to a branch I was staring at, making for an anti-climactic landing. Jumping to the ground and Withdrawing my sword from it's sheath I quickly spun around, slicing the head off a beowolf that was trying to sneak up on me. Of course when there's one, there's always more which was confirmed when multiple pairs of red eyes appeared inside the darkness of the forest.
"COME AT ME YOU BASTARDS" I shouted, clutching my sword tightly.

Tessa's POV
Arriving at the temple, I could see that nearly all the students were here and holding chess pieces? I guess they are the relics so I walked up to the pedastal before picking up a white bishop.
"Great, the gangs all here, now we can all die together" cheered the blonde with sarcasm, eyeing the death stalker and nevermore that I somehow missed.
"not if I do something about" said a young girl with determination, bolting towards the death stalker in a flurry of rose petals before the blonde could say anything.

Suddenly, nevermore feathers was shot at her like lightning bolts from the sky, pinning her cloak to the floor.
"Ruby! Get out of there" shouted who I'm guessing to be Ruby's sister.
"I'm trying!" she shouted back, fear evident in her voice as she tried and failed to free her cloak from the nevermore feather. Swiftly, the death stalker brought it's tail down, poised to impale the girl. Time seemed to slow down as she screamed, awaiting her death with eyes clenched shut. Just as the tail was inches away from impaling her chest, wraith appeared right next to the terrified girl before grabbing her waist and dissapearing, along with the girl, before appearing right infront of us again. Crashing to the ground, the young girl suddenly realised that she hadn't been impaled by the monster and instead realised that she had been saved by wraith.

Holy shit he looked hot...

Y/N POV
Grabbing Ruby off the ground I allowed her sister to hug her to death as I examined who was here and I was pleasently surprised to see tessa, though she was blushing which I found abit odd, but I brushed it off. Glancing back at the forest I realised it wouldn't be long till the wendigo that was chasing me would appear. I may be a skilled fighter but I'm not stupid enough to try and take on a wendigo grimm by myself, that's practically suicide!
"Alright everyone, listen up! We've got a death stalker, a nevermore and, pretty soon, the wendigo grimm that was chasing me so we don't have much time! Vomit boy, miss nikos, hammer girl and her depressed looking freind will fight the death stalker, take off its stinger first and, most importantly, keep it away from our fights. little red, blondie, miss mysterious (didn't know any good nicknames that wouldn't give away her faunas heritage so soon) and snow queen, you will take the nevermore. Try anchor it to the ground with something so it doesn't fly away to far.  Lastly, me, tessa, girl with green hair and her freind with the Blue hair will take the wendigo, now let's move"
I concluded my battle plan.
"HEY, why do WE have to fight the death stalker" said Jaune, annoyed at what he was fighting. Rustling from the bushes grabbed everyone's attention.
