Chapter 12

Y/N POV
Just as Ashley was about to pierce me i blocked with my kitana but she soon followed with a swift kick to my chest, launching me into a grounded ventilation unit. Converting my kitana into it's sniper form i teleported behind her just as she cut the unit in half and fired my sniper at her back. As soon as the first bullet connected she jumped high in the air, effectively dodging the other 4 bullets. Dropping the empty cartridge i withdrew another but realised i forgot to refill so this was my last mag.. great. Ashley bolted at me as i fired at her *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *BANG* *CLANG* again i barely block her attack, converting my sniper to kitana in the nick of time. Pushing her swords back i tackled her waist, causing us to drop our weapons and get into a fist fight. Blood covered her knuckles and spiked up before it hardened, leaving her with spiked and plated knuckles. I evened it out by extending my claws to which she smirked
"anything else extend?"
"ahahaha you'll find out soon enough"
I attempted to drag my claws across her face but she just dodged and punched me in my ribs, her sharp spikes piercing my armour and my skin. Gripping her arm i dug my claws into her skin which earned a grunt of pain and a knee to the stomach which was soon followed by a punch the side of the head. Blood started to drip down my head as i stood opposite my opponent awaiting her to attack first. Ashley dashed at me in the blink of an eye and punched me in the stomach before jabbing me in the ribs, her spikes puncturing my skin further. With woozy vision i ducked under her punch before replying with an upper cut which stunned her long enough for me to kick the faunas in the chest. Bricks cracked as she collided with the wall before sliding down to the floor. Dashing towards the figure on the floor she barely stopped my attack by grabbing my arm, struggling to keep my claws away from her throat.
"hey, my claws aren't the only thing that can extend... *schlink*"
Ashley started to gargle on her own blood as my hidden blade was impaled in her throat. Eventually she stopped struggling and died, blood dripping onto the floor and forming a puddle. Flicking blood off my blade i clicked it back in before sheathing my claws and sword. Puddles of the crimson liquid lay where her swords used to be, showing that she is truly gone. A wave of nausea hit me, reminding me of the injuries i sustained.. i need medical attention.

Ruby POV

I dashed out of the way as a missile struck where i was standing moments before, the last palladin trying it's best to survive. We had took down 2 of the giant mechs and now only one was left. Suddenly i was smacked into a wall by the mech, draining the last of my aura as Yang and Mia simultaneously punched it, finally destroying it. Roman emerged with his cane in hand while dusting himself off, grumbling about how his mech was destroyed.
"well this has certainly been an eventful evening but im afraid this is where we part ways" he said.
The sound of a bullhead caught our attention as a rope ladder was suddenly dropped next to Roman. I dashed at Roman when he suddenly spun and hit me with his cane, sending me sprawling onto the floor.
"end of the line red" he said
Looking up i was me with the barrel of his cane staring me in the face, causing my eyes to widen.
"RUBY NO!" i heard yang shout
*BANG*
What i thought would be my end turned out to be Roman's as he dropped to the floor with a hole in his chest, a look of horror on his face as he was about to lose his life.
"y-you, n-n-not you" he stuttered, coughing up blood as he pointed behind me. Footsteps thumped behind me as a figure walked past me, upon closer inspection i could identify them as the white mas- no it was y/n... Y/n had saved me. He limped over to Roman before leaning down and whispering something to him which made the criminals eyes widen before y/n slit his throat with the hidden blade.

Y/N POV

"This is for betraying Neo but don't worry.. I'll comfort her when she needs it at our dorm in beacon"
Before he could respond i extended my hidden blade and slashed it across his throat, finishing him off. Looking towards the bullhead i saw the figure of a woman wearing a red dress with dust embedded in the fabric.
'KILL THE FALSE MAIDEN'
Before i could do anything the door closed and she flew away, causing the voice in my head to sigh in annoyance
'you let her get away you idiot'
'you cheeky fucking bastard, have you seen the condition im in?. Plus she was gone in a matter of seconds'
'i could of taken that thing down in less than a second'
'but you didn't'
'... You need to learn how to use my powers'
'yeye let's deal with this awkward conversation first'
Turning around i was suddenly jumped on by Ruby who wrapped her arms around me in a hug
"Thankyou for saving me!" she shouted
"no problem" i replied, peeling her off me. Then Yang hugged her sister tightly while saying that she thought she was about lose her. Before i could recover Tessa jumped on me before Mia and sapphire joined her, causing me to collapse to the floor under the three girls.
"y/n! We missed you" they shouted, crushing my ribs
"injured girls" i wheezed out which got them to direct their attention to my wounds.
"oh my oum what happened?!" asked Tessa
"had a run in with Ashley Gonzo, help me back to beacon please" i said.
Mia wrapped my arm over her shoulder as she lifted me up, starting our walk back to beacon. Team RWBY and the two guys were walking behind us, unsure of what to say. Lifting my hand to my face i took the mask off as to not raise suspicion, thankfully no one was out on the streets.
"oh my god your face!" exclaimed Tessa, staring at the stream of blood pouring down my face.
"ow im hurt, are you calling me ugly?" i asked, feigning hurt.
"no no your not ugly" she replied
"oh, so your calling me handsome?"
"w-what n-no yes no" Tessa stuttered, blushing brightly unable to respond. My team just chuckled
'your teammate is.. Cute'
'oh? Well i can't disagree'
'it's a shame that she is the summer maiden, now she will be targeted'
'yeah... WAIT WHAT?!'
'Oh please, why did you think i asked you to not let her die?'
'it was more like a demand and i don't know'
"thankyou for saving my sister" yang said, snapping me from my conversation.
"no problem, i trust that i am forgiven?"
"well to your team and team RWBY, i don't know about team JNPR and team CVFY" she replied
"alright, oh and im sorry for what i said blake"
"it's fine, sorry for exposing your secret"
"no problem, now i need to do something then get some medical attention so-"
"you mean report to Ozpin" said weiss
"... Maybe, but i need you to convince JNPR and CVFY to forgive me"
"and why would w-"
"of course" said Ruby, cutting the ice queen off
"hmph, fine" weiss said in a defeated tone
"aww you look so cute when you pout" i teased
"w-wha- t-the n-n-nerve of- y-y-you DOLT!" she stuttered, blushing brightly.
"... How does he do it?" asked the monkey faunas
"i don't know" replied his blue haired freind.

Arriving at beacon i went to walk to Ozpins office but i was suddenly thrown over the shoulder of Mia.
"hey!" i said, struggling to escape her grip.
"you can report to ozpin AFTER you receive medical attention" she replied, carrying me through beacon. Looking up i could see the girls snickering but they soon glared when i looked at Mia's rear and smiled.
"YOU PERVERT!" shouted weiss
"hey y/n, if you want to see my ass i can send you some pictures" said Mia, causing me to blush bright red.
"w-w-wha" i was a mumbling mess, causing the girls to start chuckling.
'you got played'

Mia pulled me off her shoulder and lay me on my dorm bed, confusing me.
"erm why are we in our dorm?" i asked
"well it's a bit suspicious if we bring a heavily wounded student in after two notorious criminals are killed" said Mia
"fair enough but how do you plan on treating my wounds?" i asked
"w-well i have medical training, i could treat your wounds" said sapphire, steeping up to me.
"really? Well that's useful" i replied
"i-im gonna need you to.. Take your clothes off"
"what did you say?"
"TAKE YOUR CLOTHES OFF!" she shouted in embarrassment, cheeks redder than Tessa's hair. I Retracted my armour and pulled off my shirt and trousers, leaving me in my boxers. Everyone averted their eyes with a blush... Well, not everyone. Yang and Mia were greedily eating up the view with their eyes while sapphire treated my wounds.
"you've got multiple punctures wounds with massive bruises forming around them, spiked brass knuckles?" asked sapphire, wiping the blood off me.
"spiked blood knuckles" i corrected to which she furrowed her brow.
"she was a blood bender" i said, clearing up the confusion.
I took a sharp intake of air as she poured alchol over my wounds, the liquid stinging me immensly. Before sapphire could put it down i grabbed the bottle and chugged abit before handing it back, much to the amusement of everyone around me.
"i think i should tell you that the left side of my chest feels really tight" i said.
"why didn't you tell me this before?!" asked sapphire
"i didn't think it was important" i replied
"wha- you know what, forget it. It looks like you have a few broken ribs so that will take most of my healing energy"
Lifting her soft hand up sapphire hovered her hand over the holes in the side of my head before activating her semblance. A small blue circle appeared in her palm before it started to seal the holes in my head, then my ribs.
"i can only heal your ribs and head right now, you'll have to wait for your aura to heal your chest and stomach" said sapphire, withdrawing a large roll of bandages. Standing up i lifted my arms in the air, allowing the blue gem to cover my torso in bandages.
"thanks for this"
"no problem"
After my torso was completley wrapped in bandages i started to walk towards the door.
"I'll be on my way now, see you later" i said before exiting the room.
