Stuck within my mind,
Beating against the walls,
My screams fall silent within the confines of my own thoughts.Trapped within this cage,
Of thought, demean, and rage,
I cannot seem to even get a breath of air.Burning inside my body,
I am helpless against Cowardice,
Her trembling grip always pulling me back.Fighting against myself,
Words of hate and love,
Shouting back at the other.Reduced to fear,
Reduced to trembling,
Reduced to continuously looking over my shoulder.I remind myself it won't last,
For how long I do not know,
I just wish to pull back from my life.Yet this fear,
Yet this hate,
Yet this all does not control me.However many words are cut off,
However many times I might lose,
However many hours pass by,I won't die.
This is not the end.
Just a little longer
Until this mood passes over. Then I am fine, again.
